And were they always "a bit off" even at school?
Been thinking about this a lot lately, for some reason.

I didn't go to school with someone who turned out to be a murderer butttt I was very close to someone who turned out to be a rapist! He pleaded guilty in crown court and the victim was an absolute state afterwards that I don't think it was made up.

Makes me feel a bit sick sometimes because I wonder should I have known? But then how can I, it was completely out of nowhere. Sometimes you don't know people as well as you think you did.

This is the kind of thing that has been on my mind. People often say afterwards "he/she was always a bit wrong" but surely not everyone who knew the person thought that???

Yes! A guy I went to school with murdered an old man he befriended, had a gay relationship, married, isolated him from his friends and then he abused him before killing him. He was a university lecturer, quite wealthy and I believe it's thought the guy I went to school with knew early on he planned to murder for money.
Quite a sad story.

2 of my teachers have been convicted for child pornography and an inappropriate relationship/sexual assult with a child. One of their students was also convicted for multiple pornography/sexual offences with children too. It's scary because this guy was children's entertainer/babysitter on cruise ships there's fear he hurt more than those who came forward and reported him. Cruise ship guy was a lot like Chris Ingham, a Peter pan character who thought they were gods gift.

I went to school with someone who stabbed someone to death!
Got into a heated argument after a night out and it escalated.
She claimed self defence and didn't go down. She spent a year inside waiting for trail.
She was always a dick head at school so wasnt supprised when it all came out!

I remember that from when it happened. Gosh, it took a long time to come to court. 😓

Yes a lad in my year at school, his mum is a lovely lady and used to walk her two boys to school with my mum and us back in the 90's when we were little then about 6 years ago I saw the guy my old classmate in our town off his head on monkey dust and the police had been called I was shocked as knew how much his mum doted on those boys, a few months later our local evening paper was delivered and on the front page was the news that a local woman had been beaten in her own home late at night by her youngest son because she wouldn't give him money he then went upstairs and murdered his older brother to punish her for saying no, totally senseless and deeply upsetting I can't bare now to look at my end of school group photos as he's on them.

Yeah I never thought anything was wrong with him. I only hung out with him within our friendship group and never alone. I also didn't know how he was around women when he was alone so 🤷‍♀️

Not school but grew up on same estate, sent down for killing a child. Still says they didn’t do it, wrongfully convicted etc. Was good friends when younger and they were always nice. Really nice pleasant family too. Very odd

My partner went to school with the lad that shot Rhys Jones in Liverpool. That’s haunted him for years

No but I worked with a guy who got done for having child pornography. What was worse was when the police watched the footage, they recognised some of where it had been filmed was in his own house and one of his grandchildren was in it. He’s in prison now.

there was male teachers convicted of sexual relations with students.
A girl a year below me killed a man and lived in the flat with his body for a few days apparently. She did murder him im just not sure on the second part.
Where I’m originally from though murders, rape and pedos are rife. Police just haven’t enough funding to deal with it all.

There were three murderers I know from school. One I’d known since I was 4. He was always nice to me but I he was sadistic to other people. Came from a rough family.
One was a retribution murder for selling his sister heroin.

I used to work with someone who ended up murdering his mother. He was the most unlikely murderer you could possibly imagine.

Not a murderer but I went to school with a guy who I fancied the pants off, he was the class bad boy as far as he would always be in detention for bunking off or being sarky. We became friends when we were about 14 and would hang out now and then. I didn’t see him for a bit when we left school and I’d heard he had dabbled in some weed and stuff but nothing serious. I met up with him aged 19, he raped me and I reported it to the police. They didn’t want to do much. I’d see him now and then in town and he would smirk at me. Several years later he got banged up for going on a Coke spree, raping his then gf and her mum and then driving away in a car that wasn’t his. All of a sudden the police were all over me wanting statements etc. I declined as I had gotten through it and didn’t want to drag it up again. Selfish maybe but they didn’t want to know the first time.

Not murder but a lad from school got a prison sentence for repeatedly hitting someone across the head with a metal bar causing brain damage. He was always strange and dead behind the eyes.
