And were they always "a bit off" even at school?
Been thinking about this a lot lately, for some reason.

This is the kind of thing that has been on my mind. People often say afterwards "he/she was always a bit wrong" but surely not everyone who knew the person thought that???I didn't go to school with someone who turned out to be a murderer butttt I was very close to someone who turned out to be a rapist! He pleaded guilty in crown court and the victim was an absolute state afterwards that I don't think it was made up.
Makes me feel a bit sick sometimes because I wonder should I have known? But then how can I, it was completely out of nowhere. Sometimes you don't know people as well as you think you did.
I remember that from when it happened. Gosh, it took a long time to come to court.Yes! A guy I went to school with murdered an old man he befriended, had a gay relationship, married, isolated him from his friends and then he abused him before killing him. He was a university lecturer, quite wealthy and I believe it's thought the guy I went to school with knew early on he planned to murder for money.
Quite a sad story.
2 of my teachers have been convicted for child pornography and an inappropriate relationship/sexual assult with a child. One of their students was also convicted for multiple pornography/sexual offences with children too. It's scary because this guy was children's entertainer/babysitter on cruise ships there's fear he hurt more than those who came forward and reported him. Cruise ship guy was a lot like Chris Ingham, a Peter pan character who thought they were gods gift.
Yeah I never thought anything was wrong with him. I only hung out with him within our friendship group and never alone. I also didn't know how he was around women when he was alone soThis is the kind of thing that has been on my mind.
