I'll stick with my mantra "If you can't afford to pay for it outright you can't have it" Only thing I believe in loaning money for is buying a house and that's an investment for the future.

I don’t think I will ever own a car outright tbh.
I will always lease my cars. I change mines every 3 years and I can more than afford to buy my car but that’s just what works for my family.
I defo think it’s a mobility car, we have a Mercedes and the insurance prices alone would be sky high for a 20 year old never mind the monthly payments. If he was in a high paying job I’d be more inclined to believe he had finance but he literally works the equivalent of my tea break so we know he ain’t making big bucks!
