I was just wondering what happens if you break an NDA? Obviously there could be financial penalties but just say you didn't really have any wealth to speak of and didn't have anything to lose - can you be sued for any future earnings? I mean - would it have a long lasting impact on your life or do you just have to pay up at that point in time. Can you be sued for millions if you have nothing?
It just makes me wonder why more people don't speak out against certain clebs or even Megsy if they don't own any assets or are poorly paid anyway - eg, nannies?
If they never ever wanted to work another day in their entire lives...

Who would hire someone this illoyal?

Someone who signed a contract, which is more than giving ones word, and then breaking it, can hardly expect to be trusted ever again!

No sane person would sell out their reputation like that.

For those interested in Royal history, the whole Archie mystery is very reminiscent to me of the story of Prince John, who was kept hidden away at Sandringham. John is now kind of a taboo name for the royals, Diana was discouraged from using it when she suggested it for one of her boys.

I agree you agreed the contract no matter how disadvantageous. However I don't think a disadvantageous contract is allowed if it's all one sided. You have to be given something in return so you've already accepted the rules of the deal. So gossip would definitely be breaking the contract.
If you were accused of hurting someone? I don't think that would be covered so going to the press etc could be done but that would be gossiping unless you just gave your side and don't reference the other at all. So tying in knots to defend yourself and likely noone would be interested in just one sides story without context.
You could always fall on your sword and report as a criminal act eg third party reporting that someone hurt the baby. In an effort to defend yourself you use the criminal law. But then again as is shown with markle. It would be traced back to the source eventually and you'd be back in the situation of being a contract breaker. Or you make the situation worse .
My brain hurts.

My brain also hurts at this.
Do they just get a thesaurus and think what words mean the same and let's copyright ALL of them. With a sinister laugh and a speech bubble saying "we WILL take over the world one way or another".
God can you imagine the quality of any magazine put out.

Why are people enabling Smeg all the time. First, Judge Warby granting her request of deferring the case for 9 months, now it looks like HMQ may extend the review. Why can't anyone just say no to her.

Maybe it's like having small children. Sometimes you give in just to get them to stop talking.
Then you realise the mistake you made. And promise yourself never to do it again.
Actions then performed on a never-ending loop.

I see what you are saying if that person just wanted to give all the goss on what colour curtains the cleb had in their downstairs toilet.

I think sometimes people are railroaded into signing an NDA or even quite ignorant of the implications of an NDA at time of signing the contract of employment.

I'm thinking more of the nanny's reputation already being tarnished by the allegations against her (We don't know the exact allegation but it has been made out to sound as if she did something very innapropriate)
Whoever knew she was the nanny at that point in time would probably not want to hire her anyway - her reputation already being in tatters - what would someone like that have to lose? This is all hypothetical anyway as she has not spoken out but I was just wondering what would happen financially, if you had nothing and you broke the NDA, could they sue you for something you didn't have?

I'm surprised the surrogate or their family and friends, havent let anything slip.

I read somewhere once, or maybe a film, which said everybody has a price.

Bookworm latest, for those interested 🙂

There were a series of real estate pictures of Montecito Manor on legion-media.ru back in the summer and I had a squint to see if there was a wendy house..

Is that it on the left? Looks really tiny there..
Like it, good detective work! 🕵🏻‍♀️ 👏🏻

I think the 'holding out for a large payday for cover pictures' is a smokescreen to try to explain why there are no normal family photos out there. They've been playing that card for a year now.

If (and it seems plausible) 'Archie' was born via surrogate/gestional carrier, the surrogate remains the legal parent until they agree a parental order and take it to a family court. That had to happen no earlier than six weeks after birth and no later than six months. Maybe it just never happened...
Only if the child was born to a surrogate in the UK.
Legally in the US, one does not have to 'adopt' back your own baby born via surrogate, as you do in the UK. The parentage is completed via legal contract prior to birth. That's why many wealthy Brits have their surrogate in the US.

In terms of MeAgain, if Archie was borne in the UK via surrogate that could explain the lack of traditional detail and careful use of language surrounding his birth.

Or if birthed via surrogate in the US, maybe could explain the questions raised his size in the first photo call or rumours of secret US birth around the baby shower dates?

Either way, there's more than a rabbit off surrounding the child and I honestly wonder if it'll ever come to light in our lifetime.

It's bloody annoying isn't it? I fear that the Harkles won't get cut off during the review. It's very unlikely that they will lose their titles but what is more concerning is that the duchy is still paying for 95% of their income and for their protection.

They should definitely lose the Queen's Commonwealth Trust along with their patronages and his military titles. There's no way Hazno should be able to live in another country and represent our armed forces. Meghan never became a British citizen (and I doubt that was ever her intention). As an American citizen she should not be representing us at all (no offense intended to our American posters on here).

The stupid sugar nuts think that the Harkles have become financially independent and believe all their fluff about mega deals. I doubt they've received any money from Netflix or Spotify yet and will only get paid when they deliver some content. No legitimate business is going to pay out without a tangible product.

They need an extension because their bid for freedom has failed spectacularly. They simply don't have the wealth to continue their extravagant lifestyle. The Montecito mansion is a prime example of them living beyond their means. They could have bought a lovely place at a much cheaper price with no mortgage but they are completely delusional and probably unable to budget.

I always thought it was strange that Meghan supposedly got a payoff from Trevor and earned decent money doing Suits and yet she has never owned a property. What did she do with all her money? I suspect some of it went up her nose 😜

They are going to bankrupt themselves soon and will become increasingly desperate. Of course they will blame it all on Covid19 but I doubt that they would have made it big even if Covid19 hadn't happened.

which said everybody has a price
They do! And I know mine 😉

When I was 30, I was offered 150.000 DM for a weekend. The guy was my age and good enough looking for me to have done it without hesitation. I then found out it would have been a weekend on a yacht off Aruba.

Not enough money to risk being the main cast in a snuff movie or something like that. Had it been in a hotel room, I could have had my best friend next door with a baby phone, but in international seas??? No way, José! 😁

But it was a sobering experience none the less. I do not like whores. In my opinion it takes a certain mindset I despise. (Not talking here about people so poor they sell their body to have food or something like that!)

I am talking about those who are in it for the easy money. So the cultivated escort charging 30.000 or 40.000 a night, who could do something else is whom I despise. And yet, there I was, knowing now I have a price.

Good find, it’s definitely the same house, you can see the slopey white tree to the right of it too. Smeg just added a bit of garnish to the roof lineView attachment 361294
Its looks like a photoshop/composite picture thats had the cartoon effects added. Look at her left hand/arm, the proportions are not right and her left leg not right, looks like the dog and flower pot have been shopped in too.

The comments are gold on this tweet about harkles xmas card and archie/george

Why aren't more people calling them out over another fake Archie picture? The way these despicable phonies get away with the tit really winds me up. 😡
Please please let them be exposed in 2021 🙏

Agree Scotch. I can't understand why they want an extension after claiming the RF and grey suits were nasty, mean and horrid to them. You would think they would be glad to be finally free. Although thinking about it, she wont want to miss being present at HMQ 95th birthday, or PPs 100th in 2021. Even more importantly to her, the Diana thing in June. That will add more to her netflix venture, she thinks. I bet the rest of RF inc K&W, Zara, Eugenie etc, cant stand her and will not want to be within 6' of her.

I wonder if they think they get an extension that will cover all the major events in the next 6 months that they will have balcony appearances etc and close publicity to senior Royals to "relaunch" themselves.

Don't be surprised if we only see the new set of 7 working Royals on the balcony going forward to try to maintain/increase their distance.

I also think the Diana unveiling may only be the brothers and no spouses or family with a couple of official photos taken.

This is an excellent piece on the Archie situation.
Apologies if its been posted before:
Could “Phantom Archie” be the real reason for the “Megxit”?

I can remember standing outside a pub once, waiting for a friend, late at night. Friend didn't turn up. But I was offered twenty quid and no kissing involved.

"My guess, and it’s an informed guess, is that the Queen has told Meghan to drop the case. If it goes ahead it will damage the Royal Family. For Meghan to come out of this mess and not lose face, Associated Newspapers would have to come to an agreement with the Royal Family. This is going to happen. I am 100% certain. There will be no court case".

That paragraph there ... There is someone posting on the Artemis page who sometimes drops snippets of what turns out to be good, pertinent information.

It must be a month or more since a comment read that the Queen had asked Meghan to drop the case because it was reflecting poorly on the RF. My money is on the Queen paying all bills and her people working quietly in the background to make this whole thing go away.

If there is any truth in this, I understand why the Queen has stepped in but my word, I'm seriously miffed about it. I'm guessing she is covering the costs, too.

The worst of this is Meghan discovering she now has zero accountability. Dark days, indeed.

This is probably why relations between the two sides have thawed recently.
I hugely doubt that theory bubba. The only person looking like a cockwomble in this is cuntchops. Brenda, indeed none of the Royal family, not even Mr Cuntchops, feature in the case therefore there is no reflection on them. In fact if anything they will be determined to keep their noses out because it is a Markle family issue and they've enough on their plate dealing with andrew(spit!), covid and trying to work in stressful times. They cannot afford to go stomping around in jackboots messing in someone else's tit. Even the other main character involved (her dad) is looking pristine . He defended himself using the exact same method smeggy did in her People attack on him, so why is she even throwing a wobbler? She looks ridiculous calling out the MOS but giving People Magazine (who published the letter extracts quoted by the Infamous 5 first) a bye ball. It doesn't even make sense. We are absolutely unashamedly anti snarkles in this thread, no doubting where our allegiance lies, but even if you have no dog in the fight you can see it's illogical. Why sue the MOS but not People Magazine or the friends who shot their fat mouths off first?
I am definitely not giving credence to that theory at all, sorry Silbee.

Slight change from Archie but I'm still bemused by their royal cringefest wedding.
Looking back did she have one single friend as a guest? Apart from her friend with the kids hanging off the veil?
It struck me as bizarre that Oprah, the Clooneys, the Beckham's were all invited but I didn't know they were good friends... probably never met Harry or Meghan.
How fake but also bizarre.
