If he hadn't apparently flown the equivalent of twice round the world since SEPTEMBER - and he has more hypocritical trips planned, I'd have more respect for him.

I'm a Christian - in fact I'm a Reader (a licensed (not ordained) minister) and I don't know anyone with any respect for him.

But did he pass his exams (eventually) without
his teacher doing part of the exam for him?

And did he whine about being told to do the salute to anyone who would listen and did he go on Oprah to trash his family?

What about the grand unveiling that the Ho wants on film to include in her cookery show, if Neil's right? What do you think?
This could go either way, but my guess is that with the fanfare of it going to hang in the National Gallery the Ho will make sure it does. Imagine the embarrassment months down the line and this iconic moody portrait is in the stock-room!
There's also the very satisfying aspect for the Ho that Catherine is NG patron, and this move is invading her territory.

I wonder if that contact was the specialist neonatal nanny?
I've heard and read some interviews with her and she's a full-on fan of the stoats....she's not British born and left their employ on very good terms after the SA tour I believe.

May I answer too?
99% of everything I own has been tailored Rarely does off the rack fit perfectly.
Clean, pressed or steamed. I used to iron husband’s and my cotton shirts used for work. Didn’t mind it at all.
Spanx has a dedicated section in my underwear drawer. Racer back bras so straps don’t show Try a thong Meghan so no panty lines. They work. Plus you can buy them with control panel.
My mother was the role model for dressing appropriately. I learned from her. I like to think I do her proud. To the day she died at 100, she dressed beautifully, wore a little jewelry and makeup (Totally admit that after retirement and pandemic I am a bit lax with the latter.).

I look at Meghan Markle and I cringe There are actresses like Reese Witherspoon and Anne Hathaway who always look great no matter what they are out doing. Lupita Nyong’o, Kerry Washington, and Zoe Kravitz would never be seen walking out of the house in Meg’s outfits. Taking one look at women like this, you know why Meghan could never fit into that crowd. They understand the old time movie studio rule that you don’t disappoint your public’s expectation of your appearance. Plus they have self respect and would never want to look that bad. Queen Elizabeth understood this completely. The bright colors, coordinated outfits and jewels that people wanted to see her wear. Even at the end to meet the new PM, she was the impeccably dressed country woman that she was at heart.

One of the worst aspects of her cringy appearance is that the fashion magazines have been paid off to look the other way. They apparently believe that we are all blind morons. Would someone please call them out on this!

She has zero pull at the NG. Catherine certainly isn’t going to bat for her. An institution like that will not be bullied. They will refer to their rule book about cataloguing and drag their feet. It will all be forgotten when the next PR barrage is unleashed.

I hope you're right.

Lolol! John, Jr took it like a man and kept taking the exam until he passed. It is considered one of the most difficult bar exams in the US. My father was very proud that he passed on the first try.

As you know the Kennedys never trashed another Kennedy until just a week ago when a younger one went after Bobby, Jr who is running for President.

Yeah, there was a documentary about his death a few years back that talked about it. It was mentioned it wasn't as spontaneous as people claimed it was and that Bobby and Jackie showed him what to do in the room, making him practise until it was perfect. As for his death, if he had left when he was supposed to, he would likely still be alive but Carolyn and Lauren were running late so by the time they were due to take off, the weather had worsened and even far more experienced pilots decided not to fly. At least one who knew his limitations warned him against flying but he never listened.

Especially as you get older and your body change, or if you have had children

Underwear word for the day:

Uplift! ( Trying to get that message to Queen Camilla’s wardrobe assistant).

Do you mean Lorren / Lauren the Zimbabwean nanny who allegedly went with them to SA to look after Ffark - though no Ffark arrived or left and they borrowed a baby to meet Archbishop Tutu? September 2019? Ffark was only allegedly 4 and a half months old but looked at least 9 months old. Huge. Nearly working he's so whip-smart like mom.

Huge, and no passport obtainable on that fake birth certificate.
I think Lauren was hired as a stooge, and certainly sounded shifty in an interview she gave later.

On Jane Goodall the ape specialist's visit to Frogmore, invited by Harald, I remember this was discussed on this thread. Reports said that the Ho was absent from the neeting until just before the end, when she emerged from a back room with a tiny baby, showed it to Jane Goodall, and left within minutes. Job done.
Commented on here at that time was that Sunshine Sachs who were the Stoat PR at the time, can obtain / borrow literally ANY prop, even a baby, in this case briefly.

We were told some time back that London Clinic staff had tried to gain access to Catherine's medical records, which we took at face value. Could they have been after something else? We never heard anything further did we?

They tried to make it a fairytale that turned into a tragedy but according to friends on both sides, it was likely they would have split within a year or so as they were always arguing and on at least one occasion were papped screaming at each other. She had seemingly got bored with having to keep up pretences and always being perfect according to an ex who also claimed she had started an affair with him behind John's back. Thing is the ex was clearly looking for attention so no one knows if it was true or not.

I have to admit to something in common with Meghan. I don't own an iron and never use one the last time I ironed anything was about 40 years ago However I never wear clothes that need ironing so no rumpled shirts for me.
I do own an iron. Never use the bloody thing myself. But I also almost never wear anything that needs an iron. Husband occasionally needs a smart work shirt and we wash them in a big batch, timed to a day when he’s willing to commit to getting the iron out and doing his own. Tomorrow is meant to be such a day but time will tell 🫣

if he does, I may sneak an item or two of mine into his pile

Rumors about her liking the white powder as well. Kept her thin. Very common in the fashion industry at that time.
