My take is they are casting black actors, as it’s the way we employ people these days, rather than the character is actually black.
Yes....like the series recently made with a black Anne Boleyn. Beautiful lady who played the part but I'm sure someone may have mentioned it before now if Anne had in fact been black. If the reverse had been done there would have been hell on......but we are not supposed to say that out loud.

Isnt the whole trial thing, because H has turned down all compensation offers?

So he has instead taken the whole thing to court so that he can have his version of the truth presented? So it isnt about anyone saying sorry and giving him money as compensation, H has made it into something so much bigger.

That's what I thought too. He was offered a sum of money but nowhere near what William was getting and he refused it.

Oh no, it's the sausages / the bigger bedroom all over again [falls to floor sobbing]

What’s the point of the lie about stopping off at Buckingham Palace? They’re not claiming he saw or spoke to anyone in the family, so why claim he went? I’m sure there’s an ulterior motive but I’m just not seeing it.
It’s to claim he can still access Royal palaces without supervision or being there for a reason - which enhances his position back in the US. ‘I’m still special i still have access’. This proves to me that he has had his keys and security pass taken away and is not in fact allowed to roam wherever he likes. It’s why they took pictures inside and got the paps to take the intrusive BP funeral pic.

It’s been said that Harry holds the opinion of the last person he spoke to. In the last six or seven years that person has mostly been Smeg.

Does seem a bit odd as to why even mention this - its a bit 'so what'. Could be his way of trying to say he is still important and has still has access to the metaphorical keys to the magic kingdom, as he can just 'pop' into buck house on a whim.

beat me to it - I think you are right

Congratulations @Bobble22

Now we're both in the privacy of the vip room I can ask: do you pronounce your name Bob-bul or Boob-lay?

If only this writer didn't sit on the fence or beat around the bush I wish they would just tell us what they REALLY think...
I’d like to think us tattlers have a better command of the English language! I couldn’t read until the end because it’s so difficult to read

Ooh nasty. Sophie must feel guilty and responsible, even though she didnt hit the poor lady.
I don't know why Sophie would need a police escort on motorbikes, that is a bit over the top in my opinion, but she herself probably doesn't have a say in it. I doubt she's allowed to say 'oh don't bother, I'll be fine'.
Not her fault and hope the lady recovers.

And now it's the chickens which is why he did that odd strutting walk at the coronation. He wasn't smiling and nodding at randos, he was looking for worms

Maybe since H announced he had killed 25 , security has been stepped up?

These series aren't meant to be historically accurate
For this reason I'm happy to see a cast with so many black actors, they really bring a different attitude to the characters
Historically accurate is such a tricky one though.

I had no issues at all with Queen Charlotte being black in Bridgerton, she was a great character, dripping in disdain. What I do have an issue with is the subsequent rewriting of history, to suggest that in real life Queen Charlotte was black, when she wasnt!

It distorts our understanding of historical facts, if we end up believing facts that are wrong. Like the whole debate around Richard of York, recently re-discovered buried under a car park in leicester and lionised. When in Shakespeares play, he was responsible for murdering his brothers children, in the tower of London, and a thoroughly horrible person.

Ive seen on here loads of people who refer to stories straight from ''The Crown'' as the factual truth, when in reality they were never that clear!
