Because Tyler Perry is such a gruesomes fan I am wondering how he is going to portray the British people in the Bradford movie.Wasn't Tyler Perry a godfather, although they said he wouldn't have to go do it at the castle? Maddea was mad about how the evil Royals treated little Megsy. He is just another twat. I used to like Tyler. Thought he pulled himself out of poverty, and was inspirational. No. He's a fucking toad.
it certain drove home the fact that none of her family was invited... which I applaud. It also made them look like thirsty trash trying to mooch onto their now famous sister, but so be it. made people side-eye her invitation choices.Markles
However why they thought they could just turn up i dont know.
They wouldnt be let in because of security
I guess they just soaked up the atmosphere which at that point was positive
This is what I think as well @Sushex. In fact, you can count on the fact they they have been sought out by various media members here in the US 'cuz that's how it works here. The Ragland's silence speaks volumes. I respect them for it.idk, i feel the Ragland family want nothing to do with the grifter mom and daughter.
I also think this - I’m sure they both regarded Charles as a bottomless piggy bank. But even though he’s clearly very rich, I don’t think he has nearly the cash freedom people assume he has. The Duchy of Cornwall makes around £20m surplus profit but out of that he was paying 300 odd staff, his personal household but also all his charities lot. I can see that eating at least 10m easy, even 11 or 12 or more. Then £5m was being split between his sons to fund their work and living costs. I assume he gives to charity too and presumably saves some so it’s easy to see how a £1m wardrobe in a year would bite. No wonder he put his foot down! Smeg really just didn’t have a single clue about what being a member of the RF was all about. Them banging on about service was an utter joke! Rather, “we’ll ‘serve’ as long as you pay us”! It’s him I blame far more though. She’s just your basic grifter and hustler - he knew better but aided and abetted anyway!JMO, but it was such a weird thing to write about. Seems to have been worded to make Charles and the RF come across as unwelcoming cheapskates.
My suspicion is that she expected to get some kind of personal allowance during the engagement. Seeing as she no longer had her Suits salary or Tig income.
Given that she's apparently said she couldn't believe she wasn't getting paid for engagements, her love of freebies, and the rumour that she thought the Royal Foundation should pay the Fab Four a salary (I think £400k each per annum), it's quite plausible that she'd tell Harry she needed a pre-wedding personal income. And tightwad Haz would probably expect The Bank of Dad to meet that, rather than him putting his hand in his own pocket.
And Charles may have said no, it's not possible under the circumstances. That he'd meet some basic expenses but no proper financial support until after the wedding. And that may also explain TQ supposedly suggesting she carry on working.
So, as they didn't get what they wanted, they ran true to form and came up with this strange tale of their own to reinforce the poor, unwanted Smeg-who-can-make-her-own-dresses narrative.
Great points re: Freddie. He is a CFA (that is a TOUGH exam) at JPMorgan and has been there for yonks. He isn't in the Private Wealth Management side -- which would normally be where a royal would sit as they would want to leverage on his royal connections etc. No he is in the mathy part of. He has a job, a nice wife and THAT, dear Hawwy, is called being independent.Didn't various people try to dissuade Diana from sending Haz to Eton? I think one was William's tutor at either Ludgrove or Eton. But she wanted the boys to be educated together, despite the very obvious difference in their personalities and intelligence. And then after she died, I suppose they wanted to honour her wishes.
Imagine being Eton, going from educating Lord Freddie Windsor, then William, and finally Hazbeen, in five short years.
Lord Freddie. Academically excellent. Became some kind of Scholar, with his name on the school's achievement boards, for consistently passing his twice-yearly exams with Distinction. Got into Oxford, probably on merit rather than Royal status, and got a 2:1.
William. Academically competent, and got into St Andrews.
Harold. Apparently had to sit entrance exam more than once. Bullying and exam cheating scandals. School probably unable to properly discipline or even expel him because of who he was. Literally zero chance of getting into a good uni with his A-Level results.
You can easily understand why William spent their joint Eton years ignoring him.
This #FreeHarry stuff is related to “Institution”? Hahahah, I thought that was targeted on Smeg to let Harry go, as I imagine she would have him locked in Montecito, under her “claw surveillance”, Doria making sure he had enough weed and drugs.
Making the case for reform: Sounds like Meghan's plan all along. She thought she should be able to jump the queue!Yep Emma Weymouth the Marchioness of Bath tested this in the courts fairly recently as her 2nd son was born via surrogate. She almost died giving birth to their first son due to a very rare brain bleed. They tried to challenge the 2nd sons ability to inherit and the case failed. There used ti be stuff online about this but I can no longer find it. I have posted about it on here before with links but have no idea how I can search back tbh.
The video raises an interesting point about Harry and the expectation of reverence. His chosen interviews have been reverential i.e. pushback against him was minimal from Tom Bradby and Anderson Cooper. What makes him so malicious is that he knows he has nothing, nothing concrete which he could argue with against an interviewer pressing him for factual examples or evidence and so he only agrees to interviews so long as he is given softball treatment. Had either Bradby or Cooper gone off script and genuinely challenged him then I could easily see Harry getting up and walking out. I think back to the Andrew/BBC interview and he expected no such reverence and, knowing the seriousness of the allegations, he knew he had to stick it out and give some explanation even if it was fantastical.Wow, good points.
Harold, for your own sake, you should watch this video (well, if you manage to go through that video without tantrumsbut still worth a try)
I’m not sure tbh. I’m not sure how much more you can modernise an archaic hereditary institution! It’s great that girls now have parity but you can never get rid of the need for bloodline and parenthood from the moment of birth.I am guessing that the "heirs of the body" requirement will be modified in the next years/decades?
Mainly because of the possibility of a gay King.
Curious, what do you all think?
Mum and I were today talking about my one cousin who hasn't turned away amidst this narc drama. She's not been keeping well, and though she's cut down her social life quite a bit, she still has to entertain guests and attend weddings, events, lunches etc a lot. So not a lot of opportunity to really rest. Mum said maybe it's by choice, but I said it's more how she was raised - trained to always be 'ready' (as in dressed up nicely to receive guests/go out at short notice), be social and smiling and the life of the party no matter how she's feeling health or emotion-wise. Rather like Catherine, I suppose.Agreed - Charles patches his jackets, has suits from decades ago and very expensive shoes that he wears for years and has resoled. It helps he has worn the same style for decades. I don’t think Catherine has ever work a £100,000 outfit, except possibly her wedding dress.
Meghan wanted Oprah money, Beyoncé money, Bezos money - just for existing?
Not sure… on Aldi’s birth certificate, the doctors signatures are missing (so obviously the required criteria was not met) and yet, him and Lidl are listed in the LoS.Just had a thought about the prince and princess titles for the kids. I had been wondering why we hadn't heard that they had received the titles
and why the Harkles haven't been kicking up more of a stink about it.
Someone mentioned on here that they need to see proof of birth etc etc to be able to get the titles. Normally of course there would be proof of birth when the rules were written they would not have had to clarify these things as the births would have been presumed to be properly announced conducted etc.
Now I am thinking maybe someone told the Harkles that they wouldn't get the titles BECAUSE they hadn't done things by the book, hence the HARKLES are staying silent on the topic because they don't want it known that they used a surrogate. At the time of the Oprah interview they didn't know all the rules. It's just a topic that everyone seems to have gone silent on.
Hope you feel better soon Who’sYerDaddyShe’s a drama queen and drama is all she knows. It’s her oxygen; her lifeblood.
She’s a cunt.
Watch videos of cute puppies and kitties, Cass Bear! They will make you smile again!
I’m out of the office again & through the week. Apparently, I’ve an infection & some fluid in my pericardium (heart sac) which is making me struggle to breathe. Myis strong, but my 🫁’s are workin’ overtime. Sucks when breathing is a chore akin to scrubbing the floor!
(Sucks worse to be a Narcissist, though!!)
That frugality seems to be there alright. This is old, old money we're talking about. The kind of people who do buy high end but purely because, assuming such things are maintained, they will last for decades since such things are built to last. The best example for me is Williams watch. He is a Prince and money is no object. He could commission a one of a kind piece from a watchmaker like Roger Smith but he still wears his Omega, a gift from his Mum when he turned 16. Not exactly a cheap Casio but retaining it infers there is an old school/money mentality in the family. He clearly cherishes it and, as mentioned, once he gets it serviced then it will probably be gifted to one of his sons. You then have Meghan coming in and thinking that just because there was an abundance of money to spend then one and done outfits were acceptable. The idea of Catherine repurposing previously worn outfits was likely a head scramble as in Why would you do that? Why can't we accept freebies? I can totally see an impressionable Harry thinking doing Insta-like "collabs" with designers or becoming endorsement figures for luxury items was some grand way of modernising the monarchy, that it was financially prudent because the designers would be gifting them and no money needed to be spent by Pa. Understandable pushback against doing that would then rile him up.Agreed - Charles patches his jackets, has suits from decades ago and very expensive shoes that he wears for years and has resoled. It helps he has worn the same style for decades. I don’t think Catherine has ever work a £100,000 outfit, except possibly her wedding dress.

Should have baptised that Cunt in a deep bath wearing a concrete scarf!!If they arent christened then they aren't part of the RF. It is a requirement and TW had to be baptised prior to marrying TOS.
