The SA President looks like he’s having a whale of a time. I saw a photo of him in the carriage and he had the most enormous grin on his face. I even showed my husband and said “awww, look at his little face!” He really looked like a kid in a candy store and it made me smile too 
The guff Markle comes out with on her poocast is about twenty years too late. Slut-shaming? I really don't think anyone cares about how many people a woman sleeps with nowadays and I certainly noticed some push-back in the media recently regarding Leonardo DiCaprio and the amount of women he'd been linked with over the years, he certainly wasn't portrayed as a 'player' ...
It's as if she's a 15 year old girl who is just starting to become political and social aware but doesn't quite have the sophistication to articulate any argument beyond a rudimentary level. In short she's bleeping pathetic and of very limited intelligence.
Catherine took my breath away last night, I can only imagine what it must have been like to have been there as she walked into the room ... all eyes on her. Spilling the tea warz.....
I didn’t get a chance to respond to Chita’s fabulous chinwag image of those two queenly types, Lady C and River, because it was so close to the end of the last fred. Have possibly ballsed up my attempt to bring it to this fred, but anyway, I loved it so much! That dainty teapot and cups and the finely-cut sandwiches, plus you know there’ll be some finely cutting pronouncements between them!
Of the two, I prefer to settle down with River (and a G&T) and enter into his gracious, somewhat old-fashioned world. Is it his genuine self? My dears, don’t know, don’t care. I just love his delivery, it has an echo of a calm and decent world that sometimes seems to be fading away.
Lady C has interesting things to say but without the throwaway charm of River so am always grateful to our patient and clever Mardymare for summarising her discussions for us!
ETA Bollocks, Chita’s drawing didn’t paste across from the other fred. Sorry folks.

@Night Squeak I'm not sure how Mardymare translates. I tried to listen to Lady C over a year ago but gave up half way through!
She wears the right dress for the right occasion. The gold one was more glitzy and ‘show business’ like and so appropriate for a premier whereas this white one is elegant and just right for a sophisticated occasion.
Can you imagine what TW would have turned up in! Taken no notice of advice, cos she knows best, and wants to modernise the RF …….. she would have probably chosen a purple (cos it’s a royal colour) jump suit in Lycra with white elbow length gloves and white knee high boots …… cos she’s stuck in the 70s ya know!

Not that I know - I don't have Spotify so have to rely on others for such information) of "For where there's a will / There's a woman"?
