See, that's what I don't understand in all of this. None of these properties are a "home". They're showy fancy poncy places where you might attend a posh party, but they're certainly not homely.
It's like when you go on holiday - yes the luxury is fabulous (not that'd I'd know mind, but I think it would be...), the pools amazing. But after so long, you want to be at "home". (or is that just me?)
It's quite saddening that Archie hasn't had somewhere like this really. Can you honestly imagine him tottering around that house? Awful!

It used to be that having a child together was considered the highest form of commitment. Nowadays having a baby and then moving on to another relationship is considered no big deal, and it's buying a property together that seals the deal in a life partnership.
