I wonder if you can get them at IKEA?A bit of royal escapism.
This is Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette Marit of Norway sitting down to dinner in their normal house.
Just love those sofas at the dining table. ( Just totally impractical!)
I liked her dress & veil too. H's uniform was nice, but I think his others are nicer for a wedding, less funeralesque. The page boys looked like they were going to a funeral and the harsh black of H & Will's uniform made it even more of a funeral vibe. I can never get over the black uniforms and the funeral look/feel I got from that! Page boys in mini replica uniforms were also too "grown up", I find more regular page boy outffits much nicer and I found it a bit disrespectful, as uniforms are earned and not a plaything. Strange in every way though.I absolutely LOVE reading all of your comments!!! You make me laugh so hard. Anyone with a brain knows there's drama behind closed doors anywhere! And all families have skeletons in their closets and cracks in the veneers. But omg the comments from her "closest friends" of how "toxic" the RF is, how mistreated she's been, how her experience "mirrors" Diana's.... blah, blah, blech!!!! This twat has moaned and groaned since DAY 1!
She's not as loved as Kate. William doesn't like her. She threw a tantrum over by not being allowed to wear the crown she wanted. Harry throws a tantrum cuz she's throwing a tantrum. Hell they TOTALLY stole his cousin's thunder "announcing" their pregnancy at her damn wedding!!
She was NEVER going to be Kate! But that didn't stop her from trying to demand she be treated and loved, and respected like her. Her holding of her belly from the onset of pregnancy was annoying AF!! I've had 5 children. I love them all so much, but I sure as hell didn't go above and beyond to "cradle" my non existent belly, to ensure everyone knew I was "with child"
I want to, honestly, know what y'all thought of their wedding?? Personally, I loved her dress and veil. I thought it complimented his uniform perfectly. I loved the color scheme of their formal pictures. With that said, I had to mute the TV when the over the top Gospel started singing and the "American Preacher" droned on and on. I just didn't feel it was appropriate. But that's my opinion. And apparently I wasn't alone from the looks I saw on the television.
I don't believe Kate was unwelcoming. I DO believe William was NOT excited about this marriage. I don't believe HRM the Queen was anything but kind to this girl. Hell, I even believe Charles was nice in his own way. Camilla?? Meh, I have no fekks to give for her
I've always felt that after Diana's death, he really did step up with those boys. The whole Family did. But that's me looking at things miles of ocean and land away. I think they are both ate up with the dumb**, and she believed she could come in and micromanage everything to HER liking. I DO believe she was difficult to work with. I DO believe she caused conflict between William and Harry. And I DO believe she had and still does have, an agenda.
OK - rant over and soap box put away
I wasn't stating "step up" as a criticism. More of as in taking on dual roles now. He was the only parent left. I understand what you're saying about the uniforms. We're a Military and Law Enforcement Family. The darkness of Harry's uniform reminded me of our Marine Corps Dress Blues. I'd have to go back and look at pictures to understand the funeral vibe.I liked her dress & veil too. H's uniform was nice, but I think his others are nicer for a wedding, less funeralesque. She was going for "cute" with the page boy outfits, but in my eyes failed entirely.
The service... Better not even talk about it. Yikes.
They were all welcoming. M was decked out in Cartier curtesy of Charles, his way of appreciation and welcome. He gifted loads of jewellery to Diana, big and small (sweet trinkets to commemorate personal things, like new charms for a charm bracelet he got her) and of course Camilla drips in diamonds. He is even, as he comes by it, buying back Camilla's old family jewels for her.
Charles also gifted quite some jewellery to Kate when she married in, the same type as for Meg: diamond bracelets, earrings, sets.
Charles didn't need to "step up" after Diana died, this man made many mistakes and is disliked for it, but he was always an attentive and hands-on father. Him not being a good dad is a pro-Diana spin from the Wales War years. Diana's rep suffered lasting damage too, like the constant repeat of her being mentally unstable, she wasn't though.
Kate... Kate has her own issues.
Like or dislike her, but at that time she had her own problems, 3rd pregnancy, two toddlers, hormones, birthing... There were leaks of them having dinner etc, but I don't know how far out of her way a preggers woman has to go to make someone feel "warmly welcomed"? After the wedding K had just given birth, was hormonal (the story of her crying when Char was at the dress fitting), what the heck was she supposed to do?
But also none of us were there, I wish someone would leak some more on how the couples interacted that Xmas when H&M were at Anmer and all that... I'm all ears for that bit!!
Oh yeah, Megsy has one hell of an agenda, that was clear from day 1 and many predicted from the start exactly this. It is amazing. I never thought she'd shoot it all to hell within two years. Insanely fast. I suppose the devil never sleeps..
ok after looking back on the pics.....I forgot about the weird ruffle things on the front of the uniform.....and understand what you mean about the page boys......I liked her dress & veil too. Her own family knew exactly what she was and people called them nuts, vindictive, jealous, amongst other things. Samantha was spot onI liked her dress & veil too. Exactly. There is no getting away from it now. She is and always was a total bitch. Her own family knew exactly what she was and people called them nuts, vindictive, jealous, amongst other things. Samantha was spot on
Nice seeing the pics as a visual reminder, H alone in that uniform was fine, but with Will together it was too much black, but with the boys all in black it was overkill. They'd have looked 1000x better in regular traditional page boy outfits.I wasn't stating "step up" as a criticism. More of as in taking on dual roles now. He was the only parent left. And I think Kate did amazingly for a mom with toddlers, who just gave birth, and had to be friendly and shining for all the world to see.
I guess from an outsider looking in, so to speak, I feel M came in guns a blazing hell bent on causing issues. Like someone challenged her that it couldn't be done, and this her "hold my beer" response.

I loved her tiara! If we hadn't heard about her tantrum, no one would EVER have thought that wasn't her first "desired" piece of royalty!!Nice seeing the pics as a visual reminder, H alone in that uniform was fine, but with Will together it was too much black, but with the boys all in black it was overkill. I looked up the Marine Corps Dress Blues uniform and it looks very nice, not at all funeralesque!
I also liked the tiara M wore.
No worries, the Charles-as-parent bit wasn't even really aimed at you, it was more a prompt for me to straighten out that misconception so many people have about him, understandably, like I said, the Wales War years damaged both Diana's and Charles's reputations with a lasting effect (the truth which came out is one thing, but the lies they both put out is a whole other issue... If they knew what'd they'd do rep-wise to each other, I'm sure they'd have both curbed it back a bit).
I love this set-up! But yes, very impractical. I'd be forever spilling things all over myself and the upholstery.A bit of royal escapism.

Sadly, much as I think having our Royal family is in the best interests of the country, nothing is ever open and honest regarding their finances either. My understanding is that what is spent from the Duchy of Cornwall income is put against tax liability and is therefore is indirectly funded by the taxpayer. I think we are entitled to know how much of this will be paid out for Meghan and Harry under this extra year of funding agreement and for security etc. and will the repayment for Frogmore come from the same source. So, Charles is funding some of their security. What I want to know now is where the rest is coming from. Because I hope it’s not from the British taxpayers. Nothing is open and honest where these two are concerned.
Funding for the activities of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, other expenditure including capital expenditure, and transfer to reserves 2019. / 2018 | (5,051) | (4,962) |
Time for Harry to sort his CV out and get a good profile for job hunting lolShe's demanding Harry get a job, hu?? Of course none of us know how factual this all is, but gawed I seriously "picture" her snooty a** freaking this will all put a damper on her lifestyle and wants.
CLUEDO not Video! For Fox Sake!Meghan Markle's £1 million royal wardrobe!
FEMAIL has calculated that Meghan Markle, 38, wore new clothing to the value of £977,309 throughout her 22 month career as a working royal, since marrying Prince Harry in May 2018.www.dailymail.co.uk
I went to the link and kept scrolling down...how many BLOODY photos are there of the smug cow!
I gave up in the end, though it was good to see the green video dress again lol

Gosh she has little or no fashion sense..some of them just look rank, old fashioned , fuddy duddy..she’s 38 not 68Wow that article pulls no punches. It must have taken the researchers ages to estimate the price of all her gowns
The worst one is that long beige sack dress. I wouldn't wipe the floor with that!
