I've lost so much respect for TQ. She's letting Andrew and Harry destroy the monarchy, abuse their siblings- while she smiles like a doofus at flowers or some shit like nothing was wrong.

I think Meghan walked in, saw what a 95 yr old nitwit TQ had become, how complacent Charles and William had become, and knew this shit was a house of cards and she'd been duped. So she's getting what she can out of it while it lasts.

And The Queen just keeps smiling like an idiot.

The only thing smegs saw, when she walked into the RF, was how much money she could make out of them. The Queen has genuine smiles, unlike the markles. I don't think you had any respect for the Queen at all. You wouldn't refer to her as a 95 nitwit if you did. Or even if you knew what the Queen has achieved over her life.

Ah, Michelle Obama. I know she’s Marmite for some but I absolutely love her AND I have a story from my retired Irish friend who worked on the diplomatic corps.

When the Obamas were in Ireland in 2013 they took their daughters with them and my friend’s team were tasked with looking after the team who took care of Mrs Obama and also help the girls feel at ease when their parents were on official duty. Before the visit my friend’s team were asked if there was a theme park close to Dublin the girls could go blow off a bit steam. When the Irish side reported back Ireland had just the one theme park, Tayto World (Park) and that it was based on a potato chip/crisp character the Obamas themselves thought this was the very best thing they’d ever heard. Unfortunately, the park was too far away from where they were staying but when Michelle Obama arrived in Ireland she made it clear she wanted to try the famous ‘chips’ that inspired a theme park, laughing with everyone she met from my friend’s team. The main part of the story is that somebody relatively junior in her girls’ entourage had a bit of a disaster and descended into floods of tears about her mistake that led to it. The Irish side tried to help her out but word got back to Michelle. Rather than kick off about it Michelle apparently left a meeting early to seek out the member of staff, was seen giving her a massive hug and told her the issue could be fixed, everyone makes mistakes, etc.

Class act and a fully rounded human being. Also the smartest person in most rooms. No wonder the Queen loves her.

I had a meeting (If I may call it that) with someone who was present during the Markle Debacle and got fired because of their actions. I don't blame this woman at all, she was trying to do her job. What happened is that Meghan was late and was told by an event planner that she is breaking the dress code. The planner asked her to take her hat off and if she has a change of clothes because no one wears jeans in the main boxes. She told the planner "Do you know I can fucking fire you? Do you know who I am?" and her friends just laughed. Then she skipped security (everyone must go through it, even royals). She wanted some specific red wine in the lounge and they had to explain to her they can only get her local stuff at such a short notice. She had none of it. Her friend had like 4 Pimm's cups under an hour and was telling innapropriate jokes to staff. Meghan was cussing all the time and smiling like a psychopath at the camera. Then came the infamous box emptying incident.
She came to that match with a 20 min notice. The RPOs were gobsmacked at the rush and one of them confessed it was his day off but they pulled him out to escort her to the match. They had to allocate the entire box because no one had been background checked and Markle was laughing all the time at watching people leave. She said "This is just for us!" Not all people in the box could find seats so they lost around £15k on that incident in tickets only due to refunds. Some of then threatened to sue. Then came the bomb.
The Duke of Kent and the Duchess of Cambridge were on a conference call. Catherine sounded apologetic and Prince Edward sounded on the verge of tears. He said that never in his life time has a member of his own family done something on that level on his event and offered to pay the ticket difference and Catherine did the same. One of the RPOs very openly complained about Meghan and said that he believed she got very drunk with her friends. Catherine sounded horrified and apologised profusely. The Duke of Kent hosted a private dinner for everyone involved but the people who accomodated Meghan got fired because they cost the tournament so much. This person said she knew she is going to get fired the moment they couldn't find a spot for people who actually came on time and paid their tickets. By the way, Markle didn't leave a single dime there. Prince Edward and Catherine covered that out of their own pockets.
I don't know what else to say except for disgusting. She cost several people their jobs and possibly made the lovely Prince Edward cry. So much on members of the royal family making her cry.

If this is true (and it sounds as if it could be) then I'm disgusted. How awful that people lost their jobs because of that pushy bitch

This is the sort of story that needs to be out in the public domain and printed by all the newsapers instead of crap about her wearing a fucking polo neck.

I do hope Tom Bower knows all about this and can include it in his biography.

ETA Hazno must know that his wife's behaviour was abhorrent which only goes to show that he is a grade A cunt as well for letting her get away with it

Very relevant in both cases to a lot of British people's experiences, as well as other countries the Mail's available in. Unlike the Harkles.

I would personally prefer to read enlightening articles from people like Camilla and Carole than any of the word salad shite Hazza and Smeg contribute.

Someone on Tumblr says there's a DM comment saying this is something similar to the paid-for Time deal. Apparently the Gruesomes are supposed to have made donations of some sort to the Mayor/Governor's favourite causes in exchange for this meetup/photocall.
