There was, on a forum where a majority are black women.
They are also critical of Peg, but some don't like the statues idea with the black child.
Factual is however that Diana had many, many interactions with black children, so it's a little bit unfair.
She visited a place in the USA where mostly black children with Aids were living their last days, and yes nobody cared about them before.

Using the children at all was a can of worms in itself. If the kids had all been white there would have been accusations of racism. Having a black kid is white saviour issues. However they were portrayed would have upset someone. They would have been better advised to not include them at all.

Yes just like the figurine is wearing .See scalloped edge on jacket and bow at side neck.

I was referring to someone suggesting what they should have used as a model ie. a figurine, not what she was wearing on the actual statue which was unveiled.
