That's what annoyed me about her Halloween video. She was supposed to show decorations and whatnot and then talks about Christmas for the rest of the video.

Just watched her BA video and wow she was desperate for people to like, subscribe, follow her on insta and watch all her other videos the whole time. She must’ve said it like 7 times throughout the video.

There's nothing wrong with wanting to succeed and do well on You Tube. But she's been telling us this whole time she's not in it for the views or she doesn't want to do this full time. Her words and actions tell us otherwise.
Only putting up a travel day vlog, they are the ones that always do the best in views is telling.
For most Disney viewers, well me, don't want these top tier videos with great editing, and perfect music. We just want to see the holiday, what you eat, what you do, the magic. She says she's so embarrassed by her Disney vlogs, so she privates them. I watched them, they were fine for Disney holiday vlogs, she criticised Universal a lot
, she was solo most of the time so that's a different perspective.
I can't watch any more of her London vlogs, they're all the same now. Her Christmas vlogs are getting repetitive. She should go to Europe on weekends to visit different Christmas markets, that would be fun and interesting.

Also her older videos weren't all that different to her current ones. It did well but her Ritz vlog was pretty rough, worse than her older Disney ones. Plus her drawing attention to what isn't there anymore just screams 'praise me'
She was always saying one thing and doing another and she’s always been very clever. There was a brief moment when she was just filming her Disney solos for fun but then…she got cunning. Pivoting away from Disney and becoming a London vlogger for a mostly foreign audience was smart. She pretended it was all unplanned but….no it was a clever pre planned move. She’s also talked a lot about bargains, the price of everything, some clickbait titles about the cost of things in London. Meanwhile she’s also been fairly transparent about owning a flat in a ritzy area, having family help, buying expensive brands, having expensive tastes, having a great job. Her solo trips were to deluxe hotels. This trip is to deluxe hotels. She is not your girl next door looking for a bargain…..anywhere!
And I don’t believe the Disney vlogs (which I enjoyed back in the day) are private because she’s embarrassed by the quality. I think she knows where the money is, she knows the type of audience she needs and she doesn’t want the UK Disney adult audience. Her old pals get 5K a vlog on their 50th Disney trip, she can get 100K walking around M&S! And she’s got it in 24 hours this time doing a travel day which is very cleverly titled and marketed as more of an airline review/luxury porn video than a Disney travel day complete with clickbait of the price in the thumbnail. Very intentional.

I can't blame her for not wanting to be seen as a Disney adult. It also seemed like an organic shift after her walking around London vlogs took off during Covid. She delisted the Disney videos right around the time when she started working for Disney and I guess she had solid reasons for doing that. I do wish she'd bring them back though. They were a lot of fun. I really enjoyed her deluxe solo trips!

I do agree with you. Where she lost me was her attitude that she was above other vloggers, and that it was just a fun hobby. I don't even have an issue with her taking courses to improve on her hobby.
But now she is doing ads (something she said she would never do), didn't care about views but now doesn't do more of a subject if it doesn't get views, wasn't going to be a travel channel but now uploading a random airline review which breaks with her supposed London niche.
Granted this attitude shift was more obvious if you followed her on Instagram rather than just youtube.
I think the fact it's gone from a rave thread to a critical one says something too. Also, as I mentioned before, I have family members who used to watch her and have now gone off her.
But why do you care or keep watching if you don't enjoy it? It seems as though every rave thread eventually turns negative or splits off.
I still enjoy her content on YT and IG so I will keep watching.
I don't watch anymore, and it's called a discussion. The same as if your favourite tv show has got crap, or if any public figures behaviour is questionable. You discuss it.
It's someone I used to like and enjoy and it's a shame when you see them go downhill. She was like the 'anti vlogger', she avoided every vlogger cliche and called them out on it. Now she is doing everything she said she wouldn't do.
When you get up on your high horse judging others, you have to expect people to pass comment when you do what you have previously criticised.
I never saw her as an "anti vlogger" becauseshe often referenced vloggers she enjoyed and/or looked up to. There were some she had negative opinions of, but that's normal.
Discussions are great, but this thread is becoming a negative echo chamber. I also don't see how you can have a discussion if you aren't watching. Oh well.
It's not an echo chamber. You're perfectly entitled to your opinion, the same as we are. The fact is though many on here used to be fans and majority of us have changed our minds on her. So the opinion has swayed more negative from the same people who used to praise her.

Honestly was looking forward to the Harrods video and within five minutes, got hit with a long QVC-esque ad for that weird clothing company. It keeps going on and on. This is a turn off.
Has she released the Harrods video earlier than normal? I swear I remember her releasing previous ones around late Nov/Early Dec. I could be wrong and may need to go back and check dates of previous ones. I still enjoy them, but the increase in ads from her channel was inevitable as her channel grew unfortunately. Thankfully the ads are only 2-3 minutes long.

Yeah I don’t remember if it was the last flight vlog or London vlog but I think she said she would do Christmas content earlier in case viewers wanted to go experience those stores before it got too close to Christmas. Even if it’s to get a jump before all the YouTubers start doing vlogmas it’s smart for views and engagement tbh. I’d rather watch this now than when there’s too much vlogmas/Christmas content all over my YouTube feed.
In regards to her British Airways video. Was that just a random video travelling business class or was she actually travelling for her company? I only got 5 mins into the video and never got around to watching it again. Was just wondering really. I did notice she's gained about 40k subs since she passed the 100k mark at the beginning of this year was it? That's very good growth. She could definitely pass the 150k sub mark by the end of next Jan I reckon.
She was going on a family holiday to Florida which she was going to release some vlogs on but decided to scrap that but still wanted to do the travel video. She is doing something right as she was on my youtube homepage (not signed in) and she kept getting suggested for about 3 days.
But own up that you want it to be a success and no longer just a hobby/bit of fun. She takes it too seriously and wants impressive performance to be anything other than a hobby
She was travelling to meet her sister's family at Walt Disney World. She used Avios points for her ticket and said it wouldn't be worth it to pay for it.
Oh yeah I just gathered she was treating YouTube as a job now, especially since she started the clickbaity titles.
I’m maybe 10 minutes in and oh my god is she obnoxious. “I don’t know if this is a good deal” what like she can’t Google from her phone like every normal person does? Then proceeds to Google to show that Amazon has same prices. Oh no she has to go down every aisle! Oh no there’s no map! Oh no there are giant TVs!

Acting brand new about Costco having branded items is wild too. Her mind would obviously be blown by going to my local one & seeing the bougie people from Carp and Montecito all up in there buying their truffle butter and caviar and toilet paper.
