Just coming on to say that using an autism diagnosis as a defence is deplorable, he actually thinks he's done nothing wrong, the other day I recounted two incidents from my past that i would definitely report now, my husband was quite shocked but back then I just let it go, I was in the hospitality industry and I was ok with banter from chefs but twice I felt very nervous and scared by banter that went too far, using being a cheeky chappy greengrocer as another excuse is pathetic, I hope his poor young wife runs for the hills, he is nothing but a creep and a misogynistic pig

My adult daughter has always been ashamed of her autism diagnosis which she has had since the age of 2. Now "autism" is used as a flag to brandish when individuals are rightfully challenged re their unacceptable and repulsive behaviours.

I feel for autistic people who have to live and manage this highly complex and often distressing condition when they read about these oxygen thieves who just belittle and ridicule the diagnosis which they have no doubt bought or acquired after an online assessment from pop up "clinics".

He's an absolute curd for using this as an excuse for being a sexual predator.

Just posted on the secret celeb thread, he hasn’t a snowball in hell’s chance of suing the Beeb for discrimination against his autism that he didn’t know he had. How the hell would the Beeb make adjustments for it if he didn’t know he had it.

Also what adjustments could they make if he reckons his autism meant he was uncomfortable unless nude?
The workplace wasn’t suitable to the disability nobody knew he had. If he actually submits this claim to the Employment Tribunal he’s a bigger idiot than we thought, and we thought he was colossally stupid.

Hello, fellow mother of a little Autistic boy and I am raging at how he is blaming his behaviour on being autistic. He knew full well what he was doing!!
im also so fed up with this ableist Superpower crap too! It’s not a bloody super power, it’s bloody hard living in a world not designed for them - and he knows this with his little Sid who is non verbal.

More to the point if, as he claims, many colleagues suspected neurodiversity during the time they worked together, HE was obviously aware in which case why didn’t HE a) reign in his behaviour and b) go for testing (as he isn’t short of a bob or two (or wasn’t). Why is it always someone else’s fault?
As the parent of an autistic child I get incensed by the frequency this is trotted out as an excuse for poor behaviour. My child knows such crude behaviour is bad. They also had to fight tooth and nail for a diagnosis whereas these people who WANT a diagnosis for an excuse, appear to be able to find a malleable doctor who is willing to certify them as neurodiverse for the appropriate fee.🤬

He is absolutely flogging a dead horse with this, and it’s yet another classic DARVO bullying classic move. Let’s be clear, he’s got to be the victim in this because otherwise he might be the bad guy.
