Agree. Not sure why she even needed to say 'im a les' . She was making a pair of shorts ffs. Sewing is sewing. Shes annoying me now. I dont care about her sexuality just wish she would shut up about it. Im interested in what they are sewing. I really really like Anna though. And Beth though she does go on dragging her scoliosis into everything she says.
I agree. None of the men say they don't know how to make garments for women.
That irked me, why go on a sewing show if you are aware of such a glaring limitation.

Don’t get me wrong I have a soft spot for a nerdy woman and I’m still hoping she will go further.
But you don’t apply for a show/quiz etc if you can only cater for yourself.
I wonder if the producers encourage it to create a narrative, if so, ugh, please don’t.
She has more aspects to her personality that could be used I’m sure.

Remember we are seeing an edited version of multiple contestants being filmed over several hours. The producers will show us whatever narrative they want to push for each sewer.
They are probably all asked the sane questions e.g what have you made for your family? What do your family think of you being here? Etc
No doubt.
I wish they would stop trying to create such obvious over done narratives.
I like that she isn’t the usual tv stereotype of a les, but it would be better if they could share more of her personality rather than focusing on one aspect too much.
But I guess it’s hardly the show for getting deep.
She’s an actuary. Why not talk about how good she is at calculating?
Exactly, people tend to think those with a more logical mind are not always be best artistic creators.
Haven't posted yet this series, Anna has been standing out since week 1 but I'm also liking Beth and Emma. Others have done some good things but they're my three favourites.

I love Sophie on this. Really warmed to her on Taskmaster. Think she comes across as interested, emphatic and uses her humour sporadically rather than the constant sketches they tried to shoehorn in the past. Anna is fantastic.
