I don't have much money but I decided a long time ago to have a few pieces that I love instead of a wardrobe full of clothes that I don't wear. I have a few brands that I like - nothing fancy - things sold mostly on the High Street. Once I know my size I look out for them in charity shops and more successfully on Vinted. I don't buy anything new unless I know I will wear it at least 25 times. I don't buy anything unless I love it. Stopped buying things just because they are cheap. We can't continue buying cheap materials that end up in landfill because they are falling apart after a few washes.

I don't buy cheap clothes for the sake of it and I don't throw them away after a couple of wears. My budget for clothing is just very small. I've not had much of a problem with things falling apart in the wash, and when I have, it has been stuff at various price points.
