How can you push your “ethical businesses” when you’re covered in Fendi, Tiffany, Gucci, etc? They’re definitely not vegan and definitely not ethical. I’ll try and find something on google but if I’m honest it’s pretty much common sense from a legal perspective. Unless they actively broke the contract in which they were contracted to not speak negatively about the brand then there’s no requirement to sue people. It’s an intimidation tactic (they’re usually referred to as SLAPP suits)

Obviously she didn't mean they literally HAVE TO sue but if someone damages the brand then yeah it'd be wise to threaten legal action so they stop and most companies would do the same even if they don't go through with it.

I honestly cannot watch the rest of it. What a total insult to those influencers who were being completely exploited. And what a load of rubbish about the legal language part too.

I would highly advise those creators to urgently join the creators trade union and they will hopefully be able to help support them both now and in the future, as this could very easily be a collective case. Yes the contract was legal, doesn't mean it is moral and exploitative. That's exactly what this is about.

Isn't the actual outrage at the fact that they provided content that weren't used so they were never paid for the time they put into it right on top of receiving exposure or being gifted anything? As opposed to the actual percentage of commission in the industry (which is still insane low)?
