I’m all for people being proud of their achievements, but there’s a fine line between that and bragging. And she’s definitely crossed that line imo in those stories. Also feel like she 100% does have imposter syndrome more than ever. She’s constantly trying to prove that she’s working hard…she probably knows that 99% of people think she’s a phoney sellout influencer rather than a true entrepreneur/CEO.

Anyone know what this is about? Is it just a joke or what?

Does she GENUINELY believe she works hard? I have such second hand embarrassment for you right now Grace.

Please I beg you get in the real world! You are on holiday right now, taking time off to go to the beach yet can sit there and say with no irony you have no work life balance. Does she even know what hard work looks like? She is the face of a company and that's as far as her 'girl bossing' goes. The people around her have truly convinced her that this business is hers. They've given her the token label of CEO to keep her happy when it's glaringly obvious there's a whole team of specialists running the show behind her and they give her the shiny 'sign off' button to appease her.
At the end of the day if Grace was too busy in her sun lounger, the business decisions would be made without her. She is not important to the actual running of the business, the employees are. They are running the show and she is too dumb to realise that. It's honestly laughable how ignorant she is to her own stupidity.

Even if she is really busy, she needs to accept that some of it is her own CHOICE. It is not the same as people doing jobs where work is demanded of them.
Examples off the top of my head:
She chooses to model for Tala. She chooses to make reels about her work. She chose to write a book while being the CEO of 2 companies. She chose to scale them both at the same time. She chooses to still do the job of being a influencer (doing ADs etc.).

I'm sorry but no one who posts online out and about as much as she does can genuinely say they are 'really busy'

I'm lucky as there's only been a few times in my life where I came close to a "98%/2%" work life balance. But when I did, I was doing shift work and my life was literally wake up - go to work - make dinner - household chores - bed - repeat. This is not the life Grace is living, and while she might feel very stressed, that's a different thing to physically having no choice but to work for most of the day. But it's clear she has that choice - she is still doing plenty of fun things like travelling/socialising, which are things which are often not even in the realm of possibility for people who do genuinely have that kind of work/life balance. It's also eye roll inducing hearing someone whinge about how hard they work when they are probably paying for cleaners, dog walkers, and personal assistants to deal with emotional and physical labour so those tasks aren't waiting for them after their work day is over like everyone else.

Plus, for someone who is constantly "balls to the wall" (anyone else hate this phrase of hers lol), she sure manages to take 30 minutes out of her supposedly non-stop day just to make a sequence of Instagram stories about how hard she's working.
I find it funny to imagine the reality behind these kinds of insta updates. Her just sitting at her desk alone, taking a whole bunch of selfies and then quietly tapping away at her phone choosing filters and adding a caption about how busy and hectic she is. Imagine someone doing that in an office job XD The lack of self awareness is truly amusing

Those stories genuinely make me incredibly sad for her. Imagine having a life and working situation that 99.99999% of the population could only dream of and you still have to lie to yourself and everybody. An imposter with imposter syndrome. I don't know what to say. That may have just broken me. I'd unfollowed for a while and then fell back into old routines again. This once again, "feels wrong". Something is just so "off" with the whole situation.

I'm dying that she has described her style as "eclectic" (from her new outfits reel). Her fashion sense is extraordinarily basic - wearing leggings one day and a plain black maxi dress the next is hardly eclectic is it.

I reckon she has been wOrKinG sO hARd because tala isn’t selling. I reckon she’s stressed af. Last I checked literally all sizes in all “logo” pieces were still on the tala website. I also think the restock last week wasn’t an actual restock and they lied to make it seem like it was so popular the first time round, when really the stock didn’t sell.

Maybe this is why she's decided to start playing influencer again, drum up some engagement and interest so she can shill her products

I just cannot see anyone buying it, they hype is over and the reputation is just really poor and at this point, tala is even losing their loyal customers. If you read the whole thread she also roasts them over inclusivity and how tit their customer service is lol.

It's been mentioned on here that they're showing less and less plus sized women.
Also noticed that the other day, Grace said she's a medium in bottoms at Tala. If someone with her waist needs a medium, L and XL are absolutely not inclusive sizes.

I think you're bang on. She has been promoting TALA on her story almost every day, something which she never used to do. At the peak of its hype I think she got a bit cocky and thought it was already a self-sufficient brand so she started stepping back as the face of it - and got a rude awakening when the hype inevitably started to die down. I think the poor performance (both in sales and reviews) on ASOS says it all. When the clothes are on the mass market, people who aren't bothered about supporting a #girlboss aren't going to put up with poor quality and fit, unlike her fans/followers who might be willing to overlook those flaws.

I probably am reading too much into it but they're advertising roles for Finance Manager and Head of Growth at the moment, so perhaps they're scrambling to get some expertise in.
