Why does she go on and on about babysitting all of a sudden pls, didn’t she post a pic of the jar with all of her unspent “earnings” from it that she randomly found? "suspension threat"!! So unfair on the college - a lot of Oxford colleges have extensive financial support schemes in place to prevent students dropping out for financial reasons. She even confirmed that her college was "lovely" about the whole thing and gave her extra time to sort it out with SFE, which she did. Not fair to make the college out to be the bad guy when this whole non-drama was caused by her own admin fuckup and the college responded with a standard admin response. Her fake poverty story risks making people think that Oxford just kicks you out if you're having money issues which is not the case.

And the worst thing is, the college she went to has been praising her up on twitter recently, meanwhile she’s on the BBC making out like they almost booted her out for not being able to afford the fees!

I liked the review which pointed out that Grace's experience in the corporate world is one internship and ~2 years experience as a CEO of her own companies. Yet she writes as if she has spent years working in the 9-5 corporate grind. In reality she went from 0 to 100, with no experience of the 'in-between' - entry level/mid level corporate roles (not internships), which are the kind of roles that a lot of her target audience of Gen Z/Millennials are occupying.

“Having a day off in an hour” no hun, you’re having a break. why does everything have to be A Thing with her?? She can’t just say “having a bath before getting back to work”, she has to make it a big deal to show off how hard she works.

also she’s just contradicting herself, contributing to the “hustle porn culture” () and making a big deal out of having a long work day.

The live was so dull, I watched some of it and it was just grace droning on saying the same shit she always does. Plus she was literally using mcdonalds wifi I swear, it was cutting out and lagging every 2 seconds.
It seemed like Katie barely knew who she even was, she looked bored shitless most of the time and she called Tala ‘Talia’ and called the book ‘working hardly, hardly working’
Also, podcast was pretty much confirmed, I’m sure that’ll be absolutely riveting.

The stories and commentary talking in a baby-ish voice, making stupid comments that are meant to be funny, coming across as significantly less intelligent than she is... it’s a shame she feels she has to do that. She went to one of the best schools and unis in the country yet you would not know it from the silly attitude portrayed to the world

going to one of the best schools and uni means nothing. She speaks fairly well, but I don’t think she’s actually as intelligent as she makes out. She has money, and connections. Oh, and she’s white, blonde and has been genetically gifted the most socially desired body type.

I was so in awe of her life when she was a student, getting to go to one of the best unis in the world, travel lots, seemingly having lots of good mates....but I guess vlogging your dog humping things, flogging crap, editing the filter label off every single selfie on instagram, religiously blocking strangers and tooting your own horn > anything actually fulfilling

I'm skipping through the podcast she did and although we know her dad has been offering consultancy services on the cheap, it sounds like he is way more heavily involved than we might have thought. She talks about having meetings with him every day and it seems he is the person in charge of "scaling" TALA (from 43.30). She likes to present the idea that as soon as she started her businesses she detached herself from the benefits of her family privilege, but it looks like her family connections and wealth will be instrumental in growing TALA beyond a merch brand.

surely hiring your dad and siblings is a guaranteed way to cause problems...not only in the family but in the business as well, I’m sure it creates weird working dynamics for the entire team
