Yeah, obviously I haven't read the book, but from reviews and stuff I've read online it is the epitome of 'hustle porn', i.e. the glorification of hustle culture (which Grace pretends to hate). And that comes across just in the snippet she shared - the bit she highlighted in the second screenshot is another rendition of the classic myth that how successful you are in life depends entirely on your work ethic. In podcasts Grace will swear down to the ground that she opposes this culture and is totally left wing but there's only so many times she can keep sharing these book extracts on her stories before it starts to seem a bit fishy.

And just watch, as she gets richer and richer she will take the side of these kinds of people more often. so... everything she pretends she disagrees with? but somehow wants to become a billionaire... I am intrigued to know how non sensical and full of contradictory things her book is full of! (not bothered enough to read it though !)

I don’t know why but it annoys me so much that she writes in all the books she reads. Couldn’t she make notes on her phone or writing in a notebook? or on the back of the copious amounts of printing she does? Dunno i know i’m being a bit picky but the amounts of books she purchases (probably from amazon) that will likely not even be reused by a 2nd owner because, let’s face it, who wants to buy books from charity shops that people have already scrawled over with notes that probably make no sense

Jefit - it's free. Pro membership gets videos (but you can Google any you're not sure of) and access to more workouts but there's hundreds of free ones people have made so you can find one that works for you.

Peloton does a 2 month free membership, and even then it's only a few quid more than shreddy for so so much more.

David Lloyd online workouts are now free for everyone.

So much out there that is way better value than graces offerings.

I see she’s still on a follower purchasing streak. It wouldn’t bother me as much if it wasn’t so deceitful. Despite what she likes to say she’s still an influencer and with that is able to mooch off the brand deals, press and free food by having 1 million followers. While she may be able to fool the public by maintaining the high followers I’m sure it doesn’t sit well with her narcissism that hundreds of people are losing interest in her on a daily basis, and her last resort is to purchase followers.

I’m not sure if her recent followers are real from how hugely successful that 2 hour podcast was and all of the positive exposure she got from it, or if it’s a mixture of her buying them. That podcast was a number 1 trending and has been shared so many times by people who don’t even like her, which were bound to being in new followers

40% off is a lot for an app given it’s not around Black Friday, you’d assume the most would be 20 or even 25% at this point of the year

The alleged small margins is with physical products, digital products are a world away where it doesn't even cost a penny to scale up to make an extra sale.

Jesus the stupidity. This is why I'm feeling worried recently about how popular the concept of sustainable fashion has become. On one hand I'm so glad people are finally seeing how terrible the fast fashion industry is, but on the other hand I find it very worrying that people seem to think that being sustainable is as easy as just buying new things. The whole point of sustainability is that most of us can reduce our consumption considerably without negatively impacting our lives - buying new clothing every single week is still excessive and part of the problem, even it's from a supposedly 'sustainable' brand. We can't buy our way out of this crisis; we have to completely change our personal consumption patterns, which starts with not buying three bleeping pyjama sets.

Also, the idea of needing 'sustainable' pyjamas is funny to me - think my old t-shirt and knickers combo is probably the most sustainable option out there instead of buying cheap sweaty polyester TALA stuff.

Its not sustainable in the slightest to buy items you don’t need. Not a single person who buys a set will be desperately needing pjs.

Find it really gutting that someone with such a huge following and influence has completely thrown the chance to make such a difference in the sustainable market. This could have been done SO much better and actually educated so many.
