She is such a walking contradiction it’s actually hilarious 🤣 also funny she’s posting about moles and skin cancer again when she also toasts herself all summer and brags about how her tan is real?? Make up your mind luv

Influencers are experts in double think 🙄
It allows them to pick a convenient truth for whatever narrative they're pushing that day.

I just.... "I'm writing a book about how hustle culture is bad" to "I might have six stitches in my stomach but I have meetings so I have to grind!!"

GRACE DO YOU NOT SEE HOW YOU REINFORCE HUSTLE CULTURE? DO YOU JUST NOT CARE AS LONG AS YOU'RE MAKING MONEY??

Time for a nuanced new thread! ;) I've gathered up some thread titles I've seen so far so lemme know which ones you all like:

Grace Beverley #13 Double whammy nuanced Grace, freeloading through life with shiny face
Grace Beverley #13 Grubby Grace, greasy face, eating all the free food she can taste
this one from deeznutslol wasn't meant to be a thread title but it made me laugh and had lots of likes so thought I'd include it
Grace Beverley #13 Grubby and Grease, a real double whammy

came here to post the exact same thing! this seems like a time to rest and recover, not push yourself through many meetings. what a hypocrite!
Exactly, even if you didn't know you would have stiches, surely no one schedules loads of meetings after any medical procedure. I don;t think there is anything aspirational about putting work before your health tbh. OT but whose is that other dog in her stories? is it one of her flatmates or is she socialising with other people again?

It belongs to tom derry, thing is, I don’t think it lives there full time. It seems to randomly come and go, and she always seems to be walking ziggy alone

Nothing like getting a cancer scare, leaving your biopsy op, and going straight to sitting in meetings with people for the next few hours...maybe this is just the way she deals with things, to distract herself, but...

Ofc it’s great that she does check, and I wouldn’t think “it’s your own fault” if she got skin cancer. But I think it’s pretty irresponsible to give the skin cancer talk to her followers without talking about sun safety. It’s like a smoker getting a lung lump and not talking about smoking as a risk factor and instead just saying “get checked”, as if that should be your skin cancer safety routine - do whatever you want to your poor skin, and if you get what looks like a melanoma, no biggie! Just get checked

Molly Mae did the same thing. It just beggars belief that they’d continue to bake themselves in the sun despite being at risk for skin cancer, and brag about getting a “real tan” like it requires any skill. Fake tan effectively replaces real tan, and without any of the superficial or dangerous side effects. Real tan is not chemically addictive like smoking is either. Just fake tan and call it a day

Sincerely hope her biopsy gets the all-clear.

I feel like she might be in a bit of denial about the link between sunbathing and skin cancer risk; she seems to one of those pale girls who claim they 'naturally' tan dark and never burn like it's some kind of achievement. e.g. that time someone asked what fake tan she used, she replied she just naturally tans quickly. It's a bit silly - of course if you intentionally sunbathe for hours you will develop a quick tan, but that doesn't mean it's safe, and doesn't mean it's 'normal' for your skin especially if you're usually pale. You can see from her old vlogs that she is naturally very pale, which inherently puts you at bigger risk of sun damage. Just because you aren't burning doesn't mean you are safe; her overall UV exposure must be pretty high compared to most people considering all the holidays she goes on.

Yes - from the Skin Cancer Foundation’s website, “While often associated with good health, the “glow” of a tan is the very opposite of healthy; it’s evidence of DNA injury to your skin”

DNA injury is what leads to cancer, the same as how HPV can damage your cervical cells & DNA and lead to cervical cancer, the same as what smoking does to your lungs. There is no such thing as a healthy tan

Not a company that tells me to buy 12 new outfits a month with a CEO hellbent on having at least 5 long haul holidays a year shaming me for occasionally using gum or for not travelling 10+ miles away from my house using excessive unnecessary amounts of fuel to buy from specialty stores to reduce a small amount of plastic. Also why do they not have a single person at tala that can spell/grammar check, it’s embarrassing and so unprofessional.

I can appreciate that these are supposed to be general tips, but I dont know a single place that allows you to bring in a cup for your coffee right now. They really should have considered alterig these tips to make them work during COVID times.

Also as said by others, I'm not giving up gum? That's such a petty one compared to talking about excessive purchases or long haul unnecessary flights...

you’ve really hit the nail on the head here- as a ceo of a “sustainable active wear brand” (🥴) grease should be setting an example to her own and her companies followers and customers. does she actually do anything sustainable these days? we all know she’s not vegan anymore, she drives around unnecessarily (following the bus), flights here there and everywhere, buys new fast fashion and designer clothes (which she says are second hand but let’s face it, the lie detector determined that was a lie)
what about her is actually benefiting or at least not damaging the environment please?
