How do family members pay their bills while they aren’t working? I do get peoples issues with this family but I think there is a much bigger picture. I know of at least 2 other families who have had go fund me’s fully support their lifestyle while they had a sick child all be it on a smaller level. These just didn’t have as big reach as Amy so people didn’t know about it

They're absolutely loaded. There's no way they can't manage a couple of months of him not sitting at his computer. Besides aren't his employees making him money? I have every sympathy for their awful situation but they are very rich people. If the GFM was enough to support them AND pay the extortionate costs of the natural treatments, then they certainly don't need to keep it open now the natural treatments have stopped. Of the hospital hadn't said no, they'd still be forking out thousands for that alone.

She threw in the bit about the garden when she got a bit of backlash, after setting up the first grift for the little boy's funeral, I'd say, then pocketed all that was raised and has now started a separate GoFundMe.

I’ve actually changed how I think about this particular go fund me. I honestly believe that they thought he would get better (as I’m sure most/ all parents would) and then by the time they came to the realisation that things were really serious it was too late to downsize/ minimise spend. Their girl needs constant care so someone will need to be there 24/7 and then there’s the baby so they will need a lot of support. I do get that they should have taken steps to support themselves but I think they left it too late (not blaming them for that)

I think there are ways to raise awareness and highlight things without over sharing the child themselves but I will cut them a bit of slack because I imagine they are totally broken and doing all sorts of irrational things currently.

My heart really goes out to them and any other family dealing with similar I just wish there were better official ways to support people so they weren’t asking for money from strangers on the internet.

Just updating myself on the various grifters: Amy and Oz are off for a break to Lake Como without the kids with some of their grifted cash, and the doctor in LA who posted a link to Amy’s deleted funeral and rent GoFundMe has deleted the post from her grid.

The fundraiser for the girl whose family were killed is still open and cash is still trickling in. No updates since the Millie Bobby Brown post

I noticed they are off on another holiday…not bad for two grown ups who were begging for money straight after their child had died claiming they needed it to pay the bills (this then turned into needing money for the play area) Yeah right…the money was needed to keep them in the luxury they are accustomed to. Funny how Oz has posted a piece about the PM coming after the wealthy with taxes … will he be asking for even more donations??? Maybe these two need to rethink their lifestyle and priorities. They are t homeless, unemployed so stop begging. Any money should 100% go to the charity - they should not be using it for their own needs. If you can’t afford to live in a wealthy area of London then perhaps think about scaling down. Fed up of online wealthy scroungers. They can’t help but post and therefore brag. It’s like an addiction.

It was mentioned in Amy’s post that they would like to take sometime away and make up for lost time with the girls and Oz have some time off from work & still be able to pay the bills etc, she hasn’t been fraudulent she has stated clearly what the money would be used for.

Like I said if people cannot afford to donate or don’t agree with what the donations are for then simply don’t donate. I have donated a number of times and I am content in helping a grieving family whatever way they wish to spend the money that I chose to send them

You're in a position to donate a number of times? Good for you. An you dont care how they choose to spend the money? Fine, that's your choice, but not everyone is like you. Just because you don't care how they spend your money doesn't mean everyone else feels that way. An no one on here are saying these things just to be mean. No one is knocking a mum who's just lost her son, we are simply pointing out that her fundraising is possibly fraudulent and getting beyond the point of greedy. If you don't agree with that then don't come on this thread? In the same way you tell us to not donate if we don't agree with the GFM.

I cannot fathom the lack of responsibility exhibited by this woman/her family. It is very sad that she is unwell, but going to the US at that age with those existing medical issues is a level of I don't give a fuck that I just can't comprehend. The reason your insurance premium is so high is because there's a good chance that it will cost a fortune if you need medical care

There is just no personal accountability whatsoever, the expectation that good hearted people will just bail them out is so frustrating

Decided not to pay the £3000 quote for travel insurance and flew all the way to Florida for 3 weeks. Family now have a hospital bill to settle and want Grandma medically flown home for Christmas. Yes they’ve started a gofundme so everyone else can cover their huge growing bills.

I don’t think anyone was manipulated it was stated on the go fund me it would be used for bills if people didn’t wish to help towards that they didn’t have to donate their hard earned money

Someone begging for money for bills would give people the indication that they were struggling financially. They have had two holidays in the space of a few months if they were struggling to pay bills they wouldn’t be going on holiday, let alone two holidays, since their sons passing.

So many people that are now donating again are probably struggling to make ends meet at the end of each month but they’re giving to fund her lavish lifestyle!
So typical though, the rich have always expected the poor to pay for their excesses one way or another.
Time people had a bit of sense and thought carefully about who they’re donating their hard earned money to.

Can you report go fund me's? If they live such a lavish lifestyle could this not be counted as a valid scam?
It seems harsh given the circumstances but it just seems so wrong that they're using their dead child to take money from people worse off than them.

There should be some sort of rule brought in that when the GFM reaches its target it automatically closes and you shouldn’t be allowed to open more than one.

I have to say I think Cashley is far worse. He raised £2 million just in case Azaylia could be treated abroad. Then when it became clear that there was no chance of that, he could have donated the money to help another child in the same situation, but they used that money for themselves and they’ve still only donated small amounts to individual children.

Amy is being open about what they plan to use it for - people can choose to donate or not, at least she’s not pretending it’s going to charity. Someone will donate a holiday to them - there are lots of charities that have holiday homes (in the U.K.) that have been set up for bereaved families, althoughI do get the sense that the expectation would be a lavish holiday and they wouldn’t go down this route.

Tbh, I think she is just warming up, and I think she is beyond shameless.

It's an awful thing to do, and she (and her husband), and Cashley Cain (and Safiyya Vorajee) have done it - used the illness and death of a child to give themselves a very luxurious lifestyle.

It's not right.
