When I saw he had passed last night my heart went out to his parents. Then I saw that GFM for monthly bills and funeral and they lost every bit of my sympathy. Absolutely disgusting they should hang their heads in shame.

Poor Dillan had a life of suffering, he never got to experience a normal life. He was also never in a position to advocate for this own medical decisions. Then his suffering is exploited and profited from.

Poor boy. Life is just so unfair to some.

Sometimes I think when you know someone is going to die, you’ve already sort of grieved them a bit so when it does happen whilst it’s still painful - you realise life has to go on. Doesn’t mean they’re not hurting, but who does it help if they’re sat miserable crying every day? It doesn’t help themselves or their two young little girls.

But when they are parading around on holidays to New York, Dubai, living in a house on the Thames yet asking people to pay their bills for them....it's a bit of a piss take and you can see why people are going to question their behaviour.

Are people who lose a child never allowed to enjoy life again?

Losing a child doesn’t give you the right to be greedy and give up your dying child’s right to privacy to emotionally manipulate people into giving you their hard earned money so you can continue to live a lavish lifestyle.

They have been donated hundreds of thousands of pounds over the last couple of years with no accountability for where that money goes.

Yes travelled a lot in the past by the look of it lived the high life. Maybe he does come from money then. Just been digging and he’s director of 3 different companies in whats looking like shares with fancy offices in London. I’m even more startled now about why they’re grifting with a GFM! Omg I have so much to say about Amy etc. I just clicked on this thread by chance as I’ve had a lot of thoughts about this so will share them tomorrow.

I followed Amy before Dilly got diagnosed. Oz used to date one of Steve Parish’s daughters for a long time (Crystal Palace chairman/owner) so that’s where a lot of lavish posts came from

Amy and Oz refurb fund isn't going great. Wonder if people have realised now they've had too much money for no reason (the bills/holiday etc) if anything this is one I wish they had thought about and used all the funds towards as will benefit so many children and not just them!

It is a disgrace that these funds can be set up so easily but people donate willingly. Fools and their money are easily parted. And they are likely to be people who go without to donate. I think because child death is such a sensitive subject, it will be a long road before cases like this come into the public arena and people can question where the money ends up.

Amy is being open about what they plan to use it for - people can choose to donate or not, at least she’s not pretending it’s going to charity. Someone will donate a holiday to them - there are lots of charities that have holiday homes (in the U.K.) that have been set up for bereaved families, althoughI do get the sense that the expectation would be a lavish holiday and they wouldn’t go down this route.

I don't think it matters that she's being open. Of course, it matters when people lie. (And who knows how truthful they're being let's be honest). It's still in very poor taste to use the very fresh death of your tiny son as a sympathy pull to get thousands and thousands of pounds, when they're very wealthy people with very very wealthy friends. It's shameless and shows they don't take the money side of things seriously. It's all disposable to them, and easy to rack up another 50k whenever they need by sticking their kids faces on the page.

I really don’t think most people would have minded so much if she had just asked for a certain amount, say 20 grand, for a nice send off for Dilly and any excess would go towards the playground. Yes, even I could have lived with that, hard as I appear to be. But asking for money to pay bills and rent when most ordinary folks are struggling day to day, and expecting those people to give money to fund their holiday and lifestyle is taking the piss big time. No good her trying to fan the flames now, people have got the true measure of her and this is purely damage limitation. Will wait for the update on that playground in the future.

I’ve followed Amy since before she got with Oz. She was a friend of a friend and always used to see her strutting around Manchester. Always seemed to live a lifestyle beyond her means.

I have always wondered where Oz’s money is from, he’s got various dodgy companies if you look on companies house, I expect he’s probably “traded” away most of the first GFM.

While I think everyone would do anything for their kid, the three GFMs are in bad taste now. They’ve more than enough money to pay the rent, the funeral and sort the garden from the original £600k+. I really do feel for them to have lost their son, I’ve cried over it as it’s just so unfair but people can’t expect others to fund such a lifestyle. Sell the car, get a cheaper flat, do what you need to do until you can go back out there and work again.

I don’t think anyone was manipulated it was stated on the go fund me it would be used for bills if people didn’t wish to help towards that they didn’t have to donate their hard earned money

using photos of your sick and dying child whilst asking for money is manipulative.

When she announced Dilly’s death (2 hours after he passed) she used a beautiful, smiley photo of him. 18 hours after his death she posted a photo of him dying in his hospital bed asking for money. His own mother, 18 hours after he died. Explain to me why this is not manipulative or greedy.

While I totally agree there should be a lovely outside space for sick children, having it as a shrine to dillan is so strange. Imagine a child playing up there and asking who dillan is and the parent having to say “he had the same illness as you” “where is he now” “he died” not great…

this is all for their own ego. I don’t think they pay for anything. They freeload from everyone.
