It’s so weird to think that the actor of Mike has to act like he can’t see the ghost actors right in front of him!
Pat has my whole heart ❤
Also I’m pretty sure I read that Robin and Humphrey are the same actor, I wonder how that works when they’re filming
They are the one actor.

I enjoyed the Christmas special, yes it had an moral tug to it (which isn't my thing) but I preferred it to the first Christmas special.

I like seeing the plague people, they be fab!

I reeeallly hope so it's the best thing that's been on TV for ages.
I'm not sure how they could make Mary's death funny though 🤔
The running theme seems to be that all of them did something foolish inadvertently causing their own death !

Was Mary burned as a witch? Or did she just burn the cakes? I see what you mean about that being a bit problematic though.

True but those are more cameos. These are more faceless roles. He's an odd mix of not being famous enough for a celebrity endorsement but too famous to be an anonymous face in an advert.

On a side note, one of my favourite things is spotting actors who appear in multiple adverts 😅

I really hope there's a Xmas episode this year.

I would love to see them inviting people to attend a ghost hunt. Psychic investigators would be fun. It would also be interesting if someone else visiting could see the ghosts.

We still don't know how Kitty died do we?
I would like to see that properly explained next.
They've kind of done that already in an earlier episode and it backfired because the ghosts were having a protest and wouldn't 'perform', so Alison and Mike started faking stuff and got caught out!

After watching tonight's episode (I'm resisting binge watching the rest of the series but it's going to be difficult), it just gets better and better.

Absolutely love this show. Always has us laughing out loud. I think they were due to start filming series 3 in February so I hope they can still manage to go ahead and do that!

It's had the perfect balance between funny and so heart warming.

You’re getting over-excited - it’s just under a fortnight to go 😁

(Panicked a bit when I first read your post, as if it’s less than a week until 6th October I’ve missed several important work deadlines!)
Ahh christ, you're right, it's nearly a fortnight away... duh!! 😬😂 I obviously can't wait! 😂

Only watched the first episode but not impressed so far. There are too many ghosts and none of them has much personality. It's like watching a bunch of people wearing costumes to a party. It's very rushed; they've crammed two original episodes into one that last about 20 minutes. And it's just not funny!
I've watched a couple more episodes. It's a bit better when you figure out who's who and don't try to equate them to their original characters but it's still not particularly funny. There are too many ghosts. The hippy and the native American seem a bit pointless.

I'm so glad it's back but it's bittersweet as this is the last series. I think I might watch the whole series this weekend, I promise not to post anything that could be a potential spoiler for those of you watching at broadcast pace.

Do we know if there's a Christmas special this year?

Just seen on TV that All Creatures Great and Small also starts again on the 5th. That's me sorted for cosy TV.
I'm happy that ACGAS is back, I watched the Christopher Timothy/Robert Hardy series (yes, I'm that old 🙈 😭) but think I prefer this one, Samuel West is so good as Siegfried. Ah, it's just so lovely.
