We've just started watching this, I love it! It's a perfect mix of comedy with a bit of a story and nice short episodes too.

Binged watched this whole show last weekend. I love it so much. And I feel sorry for so many of the ghosts, especially the closeted Captain. Poor fella.

I really hope there's a Xmas episode this year.

I would love to see them inviting people to attend a ghost hunt. Psychic investigators would be fun. It would also be interesting if someone else visiting could see the ghosts.

We still don't know how Kitty died do we?
I would like to see that properly explained next.
We don't know the captain's name or how he died. I bet it's heartbreaking.

I'm looking forward to it.. but not at the same time. If you know what I mean.
Sameeee. I am so hoping the team brings us another series or movie or something. They're so genuinely amazing that I want them just in a writing room 24/7, lives and families be damned!

They are the one actor.

I enjoyed the Christmas special, yes it had an moral tug to it (which isn't my thing) but I preferred it to the first Christmas special.

I like seeing the plague people, they be fab!
From the last episode it looks like the main cast all double up as the plague people.

We’ve just finished watching series 2 of the American one and it’s really grown on us. There were some really good moments this series.

I absolutely love this lot. After reading the posts on here, I am really wanting to watch Yonderland. OH and me tried to find it today but had no luck finding it. The second and third series and the Christmas special were on sale on the usual websites (Amazon, Ebay, HMV) for around £6.99 each series. That is no problem, ....but every website we checked for the first series was about £150 for series 1 😯. Why is it so expensive? We can't justify paying that so we feel we are missing out on something there 😢. Is it that good?
I had a look about this because I was curious why. Apparently the Series 1 DVD was released by a company that have since went bust? So it's effectively 'out of print' now, as the publisher for series 2-3 won't have the rights to distribute Series 1. Plus the original DVD likely had a smallish run too (given how niche the series was when it aired) so there aren't many available.

You'd hope they'd release Yonderland as a box set after the success of Ghosts since people will be more keen to take a chance on it. But as always, it'll all come down to distribution rights and who owns what 🙄

I loved this!!! Mary and Julian were my favourites, wasn’t keen on kitty and the cave man at first but they definitely grew on me. I only watched it because it had a few cast members (Mike and Mary) from Stath let’s flats. If you haven’t seen that yet it’s a much watch.
If you really enjoyed this I thoroughly recommend what we do in the shadows.
Yes! What we Do in the Shadows is brilliant! I definitely think if people like Ghosts they will enjoy that too.
I also really like Stath Lets Flats! Just talented people all round.

The new Mrs Hall is made out to be at least 20 years older than the actress is. Her and Sigfried are end game right?

I’m taking it week by week but the first episode was great! Felt a little different in places with the new director but it was as funny and clever as usual.

My sister finally decided to start watching it and just started with this episode so she was a bit confused about who were ghosts...
Oh I was wondering why it felt different. I like that Mike is getting more 'interaction' with the ghosts even though he cant see them and we are seeing more from his point of view of his wife having a completely different life that he cant be part of.

The American version told us in the first episode that the Thor/Robin character could make the lights flicker due to being struck by lightning. We had to wait a long time to find that out in the UK version. Thor is nowhere near as good as Robin and neither is the scout guy. They also made it too obvious about the soldier character being gay. There's a distinct lack of subtlety compared to the UK version.

Also the husband is just not as cute and endearing as Mike. I found the American version watchable but nowhere near as intriguing or funny as the British version.
I have to give you credit for getting through it. I tried it on a flight earlier this month and lasted all of ten minutes. It just didn't feel right.

I've watched all the US episodes online and I quite enjoyed it. Different enough to the UK one to not compare them. It's typically American though with a moral to every story and a lesson learned every week!

We’ve given it a go. I found the first couple of episodes a bit ‘meh’ but I’m prepared to stick with a bit longer to see if it develops a decent rhythm. I wasn’t keen on the American version of The Office until it grew into its own version.

That said, the ‘Mike’ actor (Jay, is it?) is not a good actor at all.
