Have just watched the first episode of Yonderland on the Virgin box, really enjoyed it, had totally missed it when it came out so thanks for the heads up

Just been watching a couple of the US episodes on iPlayer ... absolutely dire! As others have said where is the subtlety? Everything in the plot is delivered like a sledgehammer! And the replacement characters are just awful! Including the two "livings"!

Anyone know how well it's gone down in the US? The Office US was similarly dire in the first season but massively improved after that.

Back to the UK series. I've always wondered, given they can't touch anything (well except for Julian's magic finger) and can walk through walls/doors. How come they don't just keep falling through the floorboards and how come they frequently sit on chairs :D. In fact in one of the Series 4 episodes I noticed Julian sit down on a sofa and his weight caused someone that was already on the sofa to sink down a touch as well ;). Plot hole 🤣🤣
Don't they lampshade this in an episode? I think it's the one where Julian is trying to figure out ghost physics.

I might be misremembering but I think another ghost (possibly Thomas) mentions that none of them understand how they can sit down and that it doesn't really make sense.

I rewatched that one a couple of weeks ago and I absolutely sobbed! Pat has always been my favourite, he’s so funny and the most relatable too.
I think his story is so emotional, because all of the other ghosts would be dead by now (apart from Julian, but I can’t empathise with a Tory 😆) but Pat should still be with his family and living his best life as a granddad.
That's one episode I just can't rewatch, it's brutal. I sobbed so much!

According to my TV guide all 6 episodes will be available from the 6th.
I've come back around to enjoying periodically released shows, so I think I'll definitely be watching on a schedule. More fun in getting the snacks ready, the hot water bottle, and getting the cosy autumnal vibes set every week!

I came to the show quite late, and honestly, I sort of wished I'd paced myself!

I saw the trailer for this and am afraid it didn't seem a patch on the marvellous British version. Some things just don't translate so well but I'll definitely give it a watch - you never know, might be pleasantly surprised. 👍
Am hopeful it will be watchable. Simon, Martha, Jim, Mat, Lawrence and Ben are all listed as executive producers.

Plus he can't have left the grounds to die in battle, otherwise he wouldn't be there now.
Ahh, of course. Good point. I know that's part of the storyline but I hadn't really thought about it in relation to the captain, so I always assumed he died in battle.

Behind a spoiler just in case nobody has yet viewed
Has Katy Wix left the series? I was surprised when she was suddenly 'sucked up'.
