I agree to an extent- the shoplifting thing though, I'm not so sure- why should it be recorded as a womans crime? But yeah, in the cases of death, why not record it as a transwomen? It's the assumption that this person wasn't proud of being trans when I'd imagine many are. Especially in the case of a trans right activist. Wouldn't they want to be remembered for that?

And in the cases where trans identified males inflict violence it should not be listed in the news as "woman commits murder". Male violence is hard enough to fight without that. Not our crimes

A picture paints a thousand words. That photo is perfect for showing that the rubgy player is a huge! I think it will back fire massively on them if it goes to court, surely wouldn't have a leg to stand on.

That's true, yeah. Crimes should not be listed as committed by a woman when they weren't ... especially when they are violent or sexual offences that women don't often commit. There are always exceptions but when you get a headline like "woman arrested for viewing child porn in hospital" you know that 9 times out of 10 that won't be a woman

Just flicking through snapchat and noticed this - apols I have just seen it is the sun. Why would they need to specify trans men and non binary surely it only affects women without the need to go into every variation
To be fair, I know what you mean, but I prefer that to “people who have periods”. At least it’s not eradicating the word woman to describe a fully developed female and removing the biological definition of half the population in the process.

this! finally a company who gets it. By all means use those terms if it's best for your business but don't disrespect half the population to do it and most of your client base.

It’s an improvement on “menstruators”, “period havers”, “people with periods” and the “vagina people”. They’ve actually included the word women!

Isn’t it a sorry state of affairs when one is pleased and shocked to see the word women on literature to do with periods..!

It’s all to make periods “inclusive”. You and I both know that it’s women and girls who have periods, however they identify.

Personally, I find the “non binary” inclusion absolutely ridiculous. I’ve not really got much a problem with including transmen on there if it makes them feel a bit more recognised.

agreed, the trans thing has at least some scientific basis - gender dysphoria (not talking about the trenders) but the non-binary things is ridiculous.

Well, non binary people also suffer from gender dysphoria (although, let's be honest, it's more likely body dysmorphia especially in the case of females who call themselves non binary)

Please can we just go back to women?

This is sickening. We all know how much MRAs love to emphasise that women can be abusers too (never mind the fact that female offenders are a tiny percentage when compared with men).

Apologies if this has already been posted but this person comes out as a transgender woman (with a beard) and then sticks a resume on the end of their viral tweet with a "help a girl out". It's really pissed me off as it just feels like they wanted attention to try and get a job where the employers can use them for inclusive points

Also, people love to say that using penis-owner or vagina-owner means no harm but it does! As someone with immigrant parents, neither of my parents would have been able to understand what penis-owner or vagina-owner means. They know man and woman and that's it. It worries me that places like Ireland using people with a cervix and people with a prostate will lead to immigrant people failing to go for cervical cancer or prostate cancer checks because they won't know they have one or the other!
HUH? Was that Tweet REAL? I know it’s hard to differentiate between reality and parody when it comes to this topic but I genuinely thought that was a piss take. Now I’m looking at it as real I can see it now, but I thought it was a pisstake from a man who was “coming out” as trans and then attached their resume to highlight how woke organisations will trip over themselves to hire someone that think it will make them look good. Honestly thought it was a joke. Maybe it will turn out to be a “gotcha” and some follow up tweets will clarify. Or maybe he’ll land his dream job and go off into the sunset (valley).

Well the MO of the MRAs is working a treat. This is absolute BS. I'm so furious

Here's a good parody for you. Notice the head tilt!

YES. And people are just eating it up.

Think I need to stop looking at Twitter because it’s so upsetting.
I don’t know if it’s that it looks so infantile or if it’s the full gleeful rejection of female physiology that does it for me. Gross.

Back in mid-December I flew out from England to Johannesburg, South Africa to spend Christmas and New Year with my parents.

I'm still here for one reason or another, but I will say the acceptance of BLGs is still stuck in a timewarp to the point where I don't dare mention I am a lesbian to anyone other than my parents and close friends.

Just makes me realise how forward the UK has become in terms of treating BLGs with some form of acceptance/recognition, even though I know its not an absolute.

I’m still not 100% convinced! It just seem so bit too knowing, the use of “literal decades”. But maybe that’s just how I’m looking at it and maybe clinging onto some hope of sanity prevailing. Seeing at the attention it’s got I hope he turns around and says “not really, was just trollin LOL” and then count the ways he is vilified and the backtracks of how “he wasn’t really trans” even though he said he was and that’s how he identified as and apparently that’s all it takes..

I’m trying to engage less with it atm for this reason. I don’t know if it’s lockdown or what but they seem to be a) increasing and b) getting more unhinged with every day that passes. I find it terrifying that man who said ‘my pronouns are she/her’ was inundated with job offers. More opportunities taken from women and for what? At the say so of another woke bearded weirdo? I’m so sick of it I can’t even bear to see it anymore, I can’t believe we are allowing this to happen. It is grotesque.

Permission to appeal has been allowed in Bell, not really surprised but will be interesting to see on what grounds given that data that has come out of the Tavistock now. I do hope it goes to the Supreme Court in all honesty because I think (maybe naively - hope) they will take the sensible approach and uphold the current judgment. CA does wacky things sometimes but often overturned at the SC.

Well why not give this bearded bro the job over a woman? if they really wanted a woman who already goes by she/her they could have but the woke bros are a golden employment opportunity because a) no possible maternity leave to pay b) woke points.
