I have a nonbinary friend. They were born female, but if they're going to be gendered by someone they would prefer to be gendered as male, so they've had top surgery and present as male. They're not overly bothered by the occasional slip-up by those of us who have known them for years though.

I’m guessing this person is a biological female? So many females call themselves NB but in the same breath talk about getting mastectomies and testosterone. It really does seem like the accepted definition of NB is basically “trans-lite”. It certainly doesn’t mean androgyny.

I recently downloaded Tiktok (I’m nearly 40 and possibly far too old ) and the ratio of funny to disturbing stuff is about 60/40. So much glorification of drugs, self harm, EDs and trans stuff. Saw a video just this afternoon by a girl who was coming out as NB - “I used to be Izzy and present as a girl but now I’m NB and you need to call me Pidge (they/them)”.

I mean Pidge. Poor girl. I hope she wakes up soon.

There was also a video by a trans woman along the lines of “When your female friends forget you are trans and hand you a tampon!”

Sure love, you pass so well they forgot you were trans. Women are always handing out tampons to each other apropos of nothing

Yeah, biological female, has now changed their name to initials and has become a lot more masculine in appearance.

As for the tampon thing, I honestly believe trans women have a fantasy of female friendships that's straight out of a hollywood teen movie. Pillow fights, giggling and gossiping about boys and handing out tampons? Who does that! Why would you even hand them out, how would you even know if someone was on their period? And not every woman uses internal methods of sanitary, for many reasons. Yet again more proof that outside of the rare cares of GD, that the trans ideology is a fetish

Spot on, completely agree that's what's happening.

A few annoying woke people on here (typical reddit) but I think there's a much bigger majority on our side by the likes comments are getting.
Someone said we've been "waiting" for a case like this as if this is the first of its kind?
