Luckily my husband agrees with me about men claiming to be women (although I have to keep the ranting to a minimum). I know more men IRL who agree with my terfy views than women unfortunately.I had a huge row with my neighbour weeks ago - she strongly supports a political party that are ( surprisingly) all trans rights in their manifesto ( we had general election b4 xmas) I had seen this case in the paper- she was all “live & let live” of course I was raging at the idea of a full bodied male in a female space - she told me I’m transphobic🫣 I asked if her 6 year old granddaughter encountered him in a swimming pool changing room? would that be ok? she shifted in her chair uncomfortably but didn’t backtrack from the “doing no harm “ mantra - I have not discussed it being on currently -
not saying your hubby is like this - but my neighbour likes to give the impression she has her finger on the political pulse- then it turns out she has only a fraction of the story- God I love tattle can’t vent about the case without being called names
I've cut contact with a number of women I used to be friendly with over this issue because i now see them as blinkered idiots, all are typical liberal progressive middle class trans maidens who are firmly entrenched supporters of the Labour Party and all the be kind rit. I just don't want to associate with them anymore.
