I don’t know anything about JR but I wonder if she had a young daughter who encountered an Upton character in a female swimming pool changing room - how would she feel about that - right now we are dealing with a male bodied male in a female adult changing room- some day it could be a little girl in a changing room situation - if common sense does not prevail .
That's exactly what peaked me! I was embarrassingly foolishly TWAW, literal genocide to misgender someone, all TW in our toilets are the same as us they just want to get in, have a piss and get out just like us..... an absolute idiot UNTIL my young daughter came face to face with a man in just his underwear in a changing room and her reaction changed everything for me, she froze and came close to me and was scared, even my fucking child knew he shouldn't have been in there. This wasn't a family change either this was a female only space and my blood ran fucking cold when I realised it was just me, my daughter and him alone in this changing area. From then I got it and I'm so very very sorry to those just trying to protect women and girls that I didn't get it sooner.

I love the way there is a photo of both, Sandie Peggie smiling, showing her face, and why wouldn't she.
My admiration for that woman knows no bounds. I actually can't begin to imagine the stress she has been under because of this dangerous bullshit.

And then that creep of a man, wrapped up in wool - seems appropriate - not showing his face, because he is a man, and will never be a woman, no matter how he tries to delude himself to the contrary. Ugh.

A picture truly paints a thousand words.
I think she’s amazing, the strength and courage she’s shown. All she wanted to do was go to her work, get changed into her uniform and do her job. Instead she’s been embarrassed, humiliated, intimidated and become the public face of women standing up to this BS, with all that entails. Through no choice or fault of her own, just because she was thrown into that situation and decided she couldn’t accept it. It could happen to any one of us. I’d like to think I would stand up like she has rather than just grumble to myself or change jobs. We shouldn’t ever be put in the position where we have to jeopardise our livelihood, safety or privacy just to spare some man’s feelings (or indeed indulge his fetish). The NHS and all who let this happen should be ashamed.

My jaw is on the floor reading what this arrogant wee fanny has to say for himself. Thanks to all of you for updating the thread 🙏🏻

The line about the hysterectomies has given me such rage. How dare he? How DARE he use that in his cheap gotcha?

There is no change in the womanly status of a woman who has had her uterus removed because she was a woman before her uterus malfunctioned, she had a disease or issue that only affects women which led to the requirement to have her uterus removed, and she remains a woman afterwards. It was likely extremely distressing and painful. You, Theo Upton, can never conceptualise what this would be like.

You don’t have a uterus because you’re a MAN and you never would be expected to have one. You don’t have ANY female biology because you are MALE. You can’t get diseases that only affect women women because your balls won’t grow endometriosis, your penis won’t harbour fibroids, and your prostate will never be ravaged by adenomyosis.

You know nothing. You understand nothing. You can make your checklists of “what a woman is” from now until the day you die, but YWNBAW. That you think womanhood can be reduced to a feeling in a man’s head is irrefutable evidence of that. There is nothing more male coded than the unshakeable conviction that you have the right to dictate what women should do for you.

Interesting that the BBC don't bother to report on yesterdays hearing but can run an item about Furries.
We used to rail against the BBC banning songs that were deemed offensive, now they're happy to run articles about Fetishes. Bring back some fucking standards.
The BBC have been upping the ante with ‘trans representation’ on their regular entertainment shows aimed at the older demographic in an attempt to normalise it.

The first guest on Wednesday’s The Repair Shop (I love that show!) was a man who’d come along to have his ‘sister’s’ dress, which went with ‘her’ on ‘her life journey’, restored. Only the ‘sister’ (‘Lizzie’) was a TIM who had at least one child. Normally the guests enter the Repair Shop, tell the experts a little bit of history about the item they want restored and what it means to them, hand the item over and leave. This guest was given a good few minutes air time to spin the whole back story and how hard it was for his ‘sister’ to be ‘her true self’ interspersed with the BBC showing a multitude of pictures of said ‘sister’ throughout this monologue. I had to turn it off because I refuse to be complicit in this sort of farce, so don’t know what happened at the end, but no doubt there was more fawning and gaslighting.

A regional rag covered the story here https://www.gloucestershirelive.co.uk/news/celebs-tv/repair-shop-guest-in-tears-9922494

Ben went on to explain that he would then pass on the dress to Lizzie's daughter Ellie, so that the memories of her can continue for generations.

Then yesterday I sat down to watch Bargain Hunt. On one team was two women, but when the captions came up stating their relationship, it said ‘mother and son’. The ‘son’ was a TIF with helium voice and bum-fluff facial hair as well as huge hips and tiny hands. No mistaking she was female. I’m fed up with being an unwilling participant in someone else’s delusions.

Kind of just musing but brought on by Sandie Peggie's fight:
What I don't understand about the whole "yes you now identify as a lady and can use lady spaces at work because you may come to harm and/or be embarrassed to be in male spaces" thing is - your male colleagues until yesterday were fine and under no suspicion of being awful people. But as soon as you've said the magic words they morph into the sort of people who would behave in such a manner to somebody they've been happily working with. Why aren't HR departments speaking to the men in the organisation about accepting Janice as the stunning and brave human they actually are? Surely you don't want anyone in your workplace who could potentially be violent towards another colleague because of how they identify. (I mean, obviously I know exactly why but it puzzles me)

When we've spoken about gender neutral toilets at work (part of an accreditation which we won't be taking on board), I stay away from talking about males in female spaces. I go with how do you think <<old school finance director>> would feel having to share the toilets with an 18 year old female who identifies as Kai (why is it always Kai?) Men tend to be just as uncomfortable as women when it comes to this stuff but it's not pushed as much and as aggressively so they tend not to see it as an issue until it's pointed out to them. It's not a safety issue for them but there's still discomfort.

Re: the step-son (sorry I can't remember who it was, I read it yesterday but was too lazy to type a response) if he's straight, ask him if he'd date a TW. If not ask him why, keep probing until the point where he has to say "because they're men" and then ask him why we should have to accept them in our spaces then? It's how I got my husband into full on TERF mode <<evil laugh>>

Something just occurred to me. Upton cancelled his GMC registration as Theodore (7844321) and has a new GMC registration as Elisabeth, complete with new registration number (8038543).

If he'd had any fitness to practice history under his old registration number (he doesn't), would that have carried through to the new one? And if it isn't carried through, what is to stop any doctor from changing their name, relinquishing their registration and re-registering so that the public cannot check their history? I think I might draft an email to the GMC.

Photo of the teacher who thinks they are a cat. Not sure what the sex is, either way they should be kept away from kids.
Another case of not knowing how whatever they think they are behaves.
My cats rarely hiss or growl unless they're having a punch on between themselves which, again, is rare.

Okay, I going to be blunt here.

Furries are pedophiles.

Pedophiles use dogs etc. to identify targets and groom them. Getting them to pet them and if they are scared getting to coax them and ignore their better instincts and eventually pet them.

This is just the next step. This teacher purrs when you give him a rub no doubt 🤬 in fucking plain sight at this point.

The fact that ‘Scotiacon’, the ‘furry convention’ in Glasgow, has to issue this warning says it all.
‘The code of conduct for artwork at this year's convention also says: "No zoophilia and/or bestiality involving humans or largely humanlike characters (eg anime catgirls, elves or centaurs) with animals or largely non-morphic characters (four-legged) is allowed. Other species-transcending sexual activity (eg anthros and humans) is generally allowed.

"Toilet-related activities are highly discouraged. This includes scat, watersports, adult diapers in use, and vomit. We do not entirely exclude this content but only seek to accept items with very mild depictions which would be suitable for a general viewing public."’

Bunch of sickos

Yes. I have posted similar previously. John works, socialises with, and uses the same facilities as David and Alan.
But the minute John puts on a dress and some badly applied makeup and calls himself Jane, suddenly David and Alan are a threat to him. He cannot possibly continue to use the same toilets and changing facilities as them. Why are David and Alan not told to BE KIND. 🙄
How people cannot see this dangerous bullshit for what it is, is just beyond me.

At lease the local press reported on yesterday in court and it is surprisingly accurate for once. Perhaps the Scottish news papers are a bit less captured?

NC: your eagerness to use the women’s CR, despite women finding it a distressing violation of their boundaries, shows you are man who doesn’t care about women’s boundaries 💥

I kept thinking of SP last night. Being suspended from your job is a very serious matter. It's usually for something like assault/ fraud/ etc etc. And here you have a woman like many of us on here, I'm sure who was working hard in her chosen profession, for many years. Like all of us, I am sure there were good days and bad.

I am trying to imagine how she felt on being informed she was being suspended basically because of a man's hurty feelings. It's almost unimaginable and yet it did happen.

I am hoping that whoever has to account for taking that decision is sweating right now at the thought of taking the stand to answer NC's questions.
