Is there a term for transwomen who argue for women's rights and call out the bull? I've seen a few on TT now that acknowledge biologically they are men and can never truly be women and champion for women only spaces etc whilst still presenting as women.
I follow a couple on X who ‘transitioned’ many years ago but don’t use women’s spaces. I haven’t got a problem with them dressing how they want as long as they don’t infringe on places originally designated for females. In fact, one of them dresses all the time in unisex trousers and jumpers and no make up (but still had the chop).

That's why I hate couples choice on strictly- I don't want to see your woeful/emotional story about you & your nan, just dance a brilliant cha cha cha darling!
I'd prefer if it was about their Nan, than about a woman who thinks they are now a man. I can't even imagine how that was going to be a dance. FFS. The mind boggles.

My insta and LinkedIn are both FULL of people (metaphorically) crying about the poor twans being genocided.
So they didn’t spontaneously combust out of existence the moment Trump put pen to paper and denied their truth?

Hypocrites.

I’ve come across plenty on social media over the years. I find them slimy and insincere. Desperate to be accepted by TERFs but I bet they get some sort of euphoria boner out of infiltrating TERF discourse in the way the average AGP gets a boner from infiltrating women’s toilets.

There are plenty of things that people could pick out from Trump’s policies and EOs that are concerning. Correctly defining male and female and wishing to get rid of gender ideology is not one of them.

This has really annoyed me!

It just isn’t true that ‘genitalia at conception are “phenotypically female”’ - no one has genitalia at conception! And Trump didn’t mention genitalia - he mentioned reproductive cells! It’s just not the gotcha they think it is, and the article linked is talking about how genitals develop in utero, not what sex the baby is! It’s that old myth of “all humans start as female and that’s why men have nipples” - NO! From the moment the egg and sperm meet in the womb, the baby’s sex is determined. This article is just crap pseudoscience!

He could’ve emulated the classic Buck’s Fizz routine where they whip off the skirts. With a modern twist to reveal the old meat n 2 veg underneath. I’m glad we’ve been spared seeing that 😅
Well I shouldn't have read that while simultaneously taking a swig of coffee. Just nearly choked thanks Snaz. (Not in a Mumsnet spitting-coffee-over-my-phone kinda way, because it actually happened)

The "journey" ruins all of the programmes now - not just Strictly, but Bake Off, Sewing Bee, and it's staring to edge into the Pottery Throwdown - and it was a bliddy nightmare on Glow Up!.

I DON'T CARE!

Fair enough - let us know that you are a 42 year old man living with his grandma and 3 cats, and she taught you to bake/ sew/ tango/ make a flower pot . Or that you are a woman who likes geraniums living with your wife and a cockerpoo in Barnsley and you've always loved sewing/ cooking / etc. That's all we need to know, thank you.

I don't care what sex, gender, sexuality or whatever you may be. It's your business, not mine. Keep it to yourself and don't make a huge thing of it.

Just knock up a lovely sponge or show me a fab rhumba, or whatever, and I will be a happy woman.

This! Their position usually boils down to “those other weirdos are just pretending to be trans, but REAL trans (like me, obvs) should still be allowed in your spaces, right? I’m still one of the girls!”
They still think there’s a special type of man that is actually a woman and should be allowed unlimited access to us and our spaces and facilities, they just disagree with the usual trans activists on where that line should be drawn. but conveniently they always meet their own requirements on what should grant men special honorary woman status!

Exactly. They are the “not like the other girls” TIMs but in many ways they’re worse, because at least the regular TIMs aren’t out there engaging in some sort of humiliation ritual in which they keep saying “Yes I know I’m a man, I’m male, please like me TERFs, please like me!”

The fact it fools so many otherwise astute women is what gets me.

Can’t remember who said it first, but: No Pet loons.

I don’t mind hearing any voice of reason in the debate but I would be inherently mistrustful of any man in womanface who tries to convince me he’s “not like the others”. It could be some sort of humiliation kink aspect to it for all I know. The allies we need are more women, and also if the men who don’t care because it’s not affecting them could grow a pair and be less self-absorbed that would be good. I’m not on X much but Buck Angel sometimes has some interesting things to say. She’s an “old school transsexual” who has lived as a TIF for 30 years. Again though, we might have some views in common but I prefer to put my trust in the TERFs.

Actually, the clitoris is a stunted pen during embryonic development so they can get in the sea with that argument.

In ivf, genetic testing (which includes sex testing in the countries that permit sex selection) of embryos is done 5 days after fertilisation. At that point the embryo still looks like a microscopic cloud of clear bubbles, a couple of which are taken to conduct testing. But the sex is already fixed in those cells!

Yes, this is the type I mean. I don't agree with the narrative on here that all transwomen are all the same predatory type because from some of those I have seen they seem to be as you describe. Don't get me wrong I have issues with many, but I think it's also fair to acknowledge those as described above.
