Honestly at this stage I’m surprised we haven’t been accused of being the same person as we are on the same threads, laughing at all the same posts, and having all the same opinions

I can't say I've ever been a Trump fan, but at that moment I reached for a bottle, poured a glass and toasted that

Of course it won't change the minds of the die-hards - quite the opposite; they will use it as confirmation that only the 'wrong sort ' believe in two sexes. But hopefully it will encourage some free and fair reporting of the damage caused by my this ideology and peak more people.

Must be honest, I was thinking I’m alone on here thinking that. I detest the man with a passion. I’m worried with him being such a controversial figure that it could play right into the hands of gender ideology.

It was the left being batshit crazy that created the conditions for Trump to happen in the first place. I'm not a fan but I think it will take someone like him to stand up to it. Not many politicians would have come out and said what he said today without any apologies or concessions.

There will be people who hate Trump who will just disagree with everything he says for that reason alone but I hope there's enough momentum now to finally put an end to this. It really does feel like a huge cultural shift.

I feel a bit sorry for the teenagers who have bought into this and who are now hearing no for the first time. How are they going to be able to get their heads around this? They're victims of a cult really.

You’re not alone. I can’t stand the man. My husband wanted to watch the inauguration highlights and agrees with some of what Trump is wanting to do. I’m just like it must be nice to be able to overlook the fact that Trump hates women except when they can satisfy him sexually my husband is all “But the economy” and I’m like “But women??” he’s v much of the ‘If it doesn’t impact him specifically he’s not fussed’ type and because he has investments and finance tit going on and I’m not a woman in America he’s not arsed. I think he also finds Trump funny, sort of like how people thought BoJo was a bit silly before he became PM, but I just find him a massive threat.

We have to avoid these sorts of discussions otherwise we both get pissed off. I want to make him read “Men Who Hate Women” or The War on Women (SUCH a good book!)

Well, I’m on my way back from my evening out which I mentioned in the other gender thread in the 8.cafe parallel universe. Was meeting up with a group of friends including an acquaintance I haven’t seen for 15 years (and who I don’t keep in touch with - just hear about from mutuals). I knew she had a TIM child in his 20s who refers to himself as a les and was not looking forward to the conversation. Anyway all went well, until she mentioned ‘Sophie and her girlfriend’ were doing xyz. Like she did even blink. I just thought, how can you do that? Erase your son who didn’t decide on this ‘female’ identity until after he was 20. I wasn’t going to be complicit in the lie so I just looked blank and said nothing. She is a nice person, but she has always bent over backwards to indulge the son’s every whim.
