This is an excellent article which is full of praise for For Women Scotland and everything that they have done to bring the nonsensity of trans ideology and its impact on women's sex-based rights to the fore:

Apparently, Nicola Sturgeon is still backing the wrong horse: she recently lamented that the gender reform debate has been captured by the same 'right-wing bigots' who opposed gay marriages. History will not be kind to her.

I wish she'd quit this nonsense and go back to her previous show business career.

Sturgeon voted against gay marriage. She’s the biggest bigot going (and also so far deep in the closet she lives in Narnia)

Is anything more misogynistic than gender ideology, yet Sturgeon ( I loathe her with a passion) uses this as one of her insults for those opposing gender reform.
One side of the argument has eminent scientists with facts, the other resorts to name calling. Says it all.

Article in the Telegraph which reveals just how deeply entrenched gender ideology is within the NHS. There are 31 awareness days and weeks scheduled for LGBTQI+ in 2025, compared to those for cancer, which has the second most events at 16 - almost half. How can a national HEALTH service spend twice as much time (and money) promoting ideological causes rather than on an illness that is predicted to strike one in two of us? Some quotes from the article:

A spokesman for NHS England is quoted is saying that the days are not created by NHS England and that they are shared with staff so that they can engage with them if they wish. I know we have several NHS employees on this thread and it might be worth taking a note of that statement in case you are pressured to partake (e.g. it’s suggested you put flags up or attend a ‘workshop’) when you have no desire to. Also, people often don’t have a choice whether to engage, especially when your hospital (this is true of mine) flies a bloody progress flag on a pole all year round.

Does anyone know if Susie Green's son that she castrated is happy pretending to be a woman?

He is full on TRA quoting Willoughby and the like. But what choice does he have really? The psychological wrangling it would involve having to confront the fact that his mum set him on a path to never becoming a sexually mature adult would probably break him. I’ve seen other social media posts of his where he says he suffers MH problems (unrelated to his experience, of course).

The thing about Susie Green’s son, the most horrific and tragic thing, is that none of this is his fault. He was just a “girly” toddler and his parents transed him, brainwashed him and mutilated him, just to avoid the vaguest possibility of having a gay son. He has literally known nothing other than his mum telling him that he’s transgender, and then making trans activism her entire life and career.

No way could he ever face up to the possibility that this is all wrong and he could have lived a happy and full life as a man.

On the subject of awareness days - we had our end of year ED & I group meeting last week. It was essentially to decide what we're going to concentrate on in the coming 12 months. Someone - who has up till now had very little input into the group - has suggested we do something around non-binary awareness (urgh). I was talking to my boss the next day and said in no uncertain terms that I would absolutely not be getting involved in that. She is lovely and comes across as being very much a #bekind person (not in a shut-up-mean-women-and-let-the-men-trample-all-over-you way), she's just a nice person. She totally surprised me by saying "no, I kept quiet in the meeting but I won't be getting involved either, she can deal with that. You're either male or female and that's all that matters"
Welcome to the dark side boss lady. I suspect there'll be some interesting conversations in our office in the coming months. I've always let it be known that I don't have time for gender stuff but I've always been quite careful in how I express it and not just gone full on "this is bollocks". Not anymore <<does cartwheels>> She's about to take over the firm too 😁

Would have been better if she had actually said that in the meeting though, given that's not actually a statement that can lead to a disciplinary in work and she's the boss.

Ah yes but when your remit is people and ED & I, you can't really be seen to be not on board with all of the stuff. But you don't have to champion it, you can just quietly decide not to promote it. If she didn't believe that people can be hard of hearing (sorry a tit example) and that you're either deaf or have perfect hearing, I'd expect her not to express that in a diversity meeting.

ETA a better example would be if she didn't believe that bisexuality existed and that you were either straight or gay

I’m honestly not arguing but non binary doesn’t exist, it’s a made up affectation. When I see ED things that focus on this kind of rubbish it immediately makes me think they don’t get it and are likely to be the types of people (and therefore organisations) that don’t support women.

This came up on my FB feed. Needless to say, I have blocked it, but I hate how this is being pushed and normalised. Thankfully, most comments agree with us, along the lines of you’re either male or female, or why is this even being promoted.

In my 2 year olds Melissa and Doug vet kit - am I being dramatic or is there a third option for animal gender?
I have no knowledge of children, but obviously was a child myself and wouldn’t have had a clue what those symbols meant at such a young age. The old toilet door 🚺🚹 of course I recognised. Oh how disappointing, Melissa & Doug stuff always seems lovely.

Memory unlocked! I had a doctor/nurse playset. It had a similar record sheet which 6 year old me dutifully filled in when “treating” my dad.
It had ”Sex” on the form and I remember this because my mum and dad laughed at what I wrote (far too cringey to admit here, but in hindsight it was hilarious).

@petitspois sorry, I didn't intend to sound defensive. I'm very lucky in that I work for a firm who very definitely care for women (and it's her influence that has convinced the board of directors)
I'm pretty sure that the person who is championing the NB stuff won't actually do a lot with it once she realises that she's actually going to have to do the work for it. She's always been more than happy to be part of the group but just show up rather than actually arrange any of the events etc
