We have a ‘trans parent’ in our group - hence the complaint about the kids and the book. So I would go straight to school. You will hear on the grapevine if other people do the same.

It's wrong that we have to protect actual factual viewpoints (i.e. that you can't change sex and men and men and women are women) as a belief though as opposed to just speaking the truth.

And Labour thinks it's safe to release rapists early. This guy got arrested as he walked out, so they must have had information on him from another crime he hadn't been tried for. Makes you wonder about all the other people being released.
Makes me wonder how many will reoffend. As a woman I do not feel confident in Labour's desire to release these people early.
You’d think right, but people over 40 are more susceptible than you think. I know a straight married mother in her 40s who first added pronouns to her Insta bio as she/they, and more recently to they/them. She’s an otherwise very intelligent woman who birthed children and breastfed them. She surely knows as much as there is to know about the reality of life in a female body. She moves in quite arty circles these days so I’m convinced she’s been brainwashed.
Yes, initially I ignored a lot of it as I thought it was a conspiracy / exaggeration / over reaction / pearl clutching.

The Universities are utterly insane though, last year, Glasgow Uni, where ny daughter is, had Nicola Sturgeon in for International Women's day.
I was outraged.
Like… I don’t even remember asking to join this group. But it seems to be a group for women on their own to meet up with other lone women. How DARE they hint a man who ‘identifies as’ (says he is) a woman will also be welcome to join and meet up with vulnerable, isolated, probably young women on their own, finding out their location and possibly arranging a meeting at night

Perhaps the groups should deal with these interlopers internally and quietly - everyone just hit the "block" button so they don't even get notifications from him. Or perhaps give the mods a button to use at their own discretion so block him universally. Kind of an easy win for the police as they knew exactly where he was going to be but they do get a tiny of credit for getting him back off the streets.
