They used to say being gay was a mental illness.
Weird how a lot of the arguments against transgender people are just recycled arguments against gay people, just with the targeted minority being the difference.

But I'm sure it doesn't matter, it's not like rampant homophobia in the 80's played a role in exacerbating the AIDS crisis.

Gay people are just attracted to the same sex, they don't think they are the opposite sex and that the rest of the world needs to affirm their delusion. Bit of a difference to trans people.
Gay people did not force their way, unwelcomed, into sports, prisons, hospital wards, changing rooms and language reserved for the opposite sex. Bit of a difference to trans people.

Every single woman I know who breastfed or attempted to, did so for the good of their baby. It makes me so fucking mad that these LARPers try to steal this from us and put innocent babies health at risk. We're told not to drink, smoke, eat certain things when pregnant - for the sake of our babies (and get vilified for not paying attention to the advice). But along comes a man who wants a baby to suckle his fake boobs and it's all fine, let the baby ingest a cocktail of drugs and pseudo milk. Just a little update following my 8 year old child being given a pro trans book at school this week…I’ve spoken to the head and left him in NO uncertain terms that if my child is exposed to anything like this again while at his school I will hold him personally responsible and will take it much further. He’s assured me that it won’t happen again (to my child) I asked why they’re teaching this stuff when the guidance says gender identity should not be taught at this stage. His reply was that they’re not “teaching” it in class but that books are available as part of equality and diversity reading books for children to read and “ask questions” so that’s obviously how they are getting around the guidance! Apparently the school don’t pick the books they are just sent ones that are age appropriate. The one in question is written by a trans activist whose whole identity (and career!) is based on being a ‘trans mom’ I asked how many other books they store that are written by activists (EDL, BLM…?) he just couldn’t answer me. I’m still furious and did end up putting a quick message in the parents Whataspo just as a heads up let others know that these books are in class. I’ve had a lot of messages thanking me and everyone so far feels exactly the same as I do

One thing I really hate is how the word “prude” is now being used against (mainly) women for objecting to being party to someone’s sexual fetishes and sexual gratification without consent. I‘ve seen accusations of “kink shaming“ but It’s not OK to inflict your fetish on me, or anyone else who hasn’t consented. If they kept their bloody weird fetishes to themselves and like minded consenting adults, then they wouldn’t be shamed.
Of course it’s just another misogynistic thing. Women are condemned and called names, no matter how they view sex and sexual matters. They‘re insulted if they love sex, hate sex, too adventurous, a “prude” whatever. Surely everyone is entitled to boundaries and what is offensive to them.

That's really good news! I think it would be worthwhile checking with some of the organisations that the other Tattlers mentioned. A quick google has revealed there is a whole industry out there supplying books to Primary Schools under the heading of Diversity and Inclusion. Some seem perfectly appropriate and reasonable, but 'gender' keeps being mentioned. Key Stage 2 seems to be the time and it doesn't hurt to be prepared.
A word of warning to the Head, Peter Tatchell says that he was always being sent books as well and that's how he 'accidentally' ended up reviewing that notorious book...
Your Head needs to check what's in his library.

I’ve actually had more messages from parents this morning who have gone into the school to complain that these books are in school without parents knowing and to advise they don’t want their children reading them. The school have apparently confirmed that the book in question will not be going back into the classroom I’ve also emailed the head setting out exactly what I said on the phone and asked him to confirm in writing that my daughter will not be exposed to this again whilst in his care…I’m sure he hates me now

Why does the psychical safety of trans people matter more than the actual physical safety of the staff, students and other attendees? Why do they deserve to feel euphoria but everyone else who doesn’t go along with it all not deserve to feel comfort and safety. I’m bisexual and I’ll never support this lot!
