Well I quite like Katie Hopkins 🤪

I only see some posts of hers on Telegram and she’s correct about ULEZ fraud, TIMs taking over women’s spaces, toxic injections and cashless society - haven’t seen her say anything about Islam before so I can’t comment on your “vile islamaphobic hate filled bleep” point. But everything else I see her comment on is bang on in my opinion. And she does it with humour so I enjoy it even more tbh.
---

This is so true. All you ever see is TRAs talking about the murder of Brianna which albeit is terrible and awful, but women are murdered every single day by men yet no one seems to care.
Hopkins was kicked off Celebrity Big Brother and out of Australia when she was caught flaunting her disregard for the strict Covid rules at the time and also for her views on race/religion. I can't remember what she had tweeted because honestly, she's not a celebrity down here.

I'll give her a pass for standing up for women's rights to safe spaces though, even though I disagree with some of her other stances.

I am really looking forward to reading the Cass report. For the past 3yrs I have trusted my instinct to not agree with my now 17yr old daughter that she's in the wrong body, she's a boy, she has a male brain, I am a birth giver etc etc ... my husband and myself have refused point blank to refer to her as anything other than the name we gave her at birth and as a female. On a selfish note I hope this report confirms I have done the correct thing, as it feels like I've been standing on my own for a long time on this.

If anyone is interested, after my daughter was verbally abusive to my face a few months ago which resulted in me calmly telling her if she ever speaks to me again like that in my own house she can pack her bags and get out she has been abit easier to live with. We had a great chat about the extremes of both sides of the argument the other week and the importance of being able to have a conversation about the issues from both sides. We also spoke about the long term issues of trans surgeries- most of which she was unaware of. So I kindly pointed her in the direction of a few videos which she didn't shout me down for suggesting. I'm taking it all as a step in the right direction.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, I am so thankful for this forum and all the members who bring so much info to my attention. You really have been my absolute rock these last few years. I don't think I've ever read so many articles and studies before.

She'll thank you for it eventually. Too many parents take the path of least resistance these days and Society pays the price.
Our job as Parents isn't to give our Children the world, its to give them the tools to navigate it.

Went down a Facebook rabbit hole today after post from a page called ‘Feminist Trash’ came up on my feed. Mostly all good points until tit like this comes up. Whoever Ellen from Radical Pirates is 😘

As someone (was it Helen Joyce?) said, the people who have transitioned their children have most to lose. How can you possibly admit to the world, much less yourself and your child, that you’ve destroyed their future fertility and made them into life long medical patients on the basis of an ideology that is founded on nothing at all?
This is why the legal teams are gearing up for this I think. No parent wants to admit they ruined their child’s life, so getting a court of law to say it was someone else’s fault will become an attractive option.

I'm so happy to read this, hopefully your daughter is coming out the other end of this and, thanks to you, without any physical harm 🩷

I only dip in and out of this thread, as the whole subject makes me so angry, so you may have answered before, but has your daughter said why she's decided she's a boy?

Also, what does she think about men taking over our sports and the danger to women by them using our private facilities like toilets and changing rooms?

I've asked her this many times over the last few years. I actually think it may have been the first thing I asked her after she told me she was a boy. She has never really said anything other than "just because" or "the way my brain works, it's a male brain" or something along the lines of "I've never been girly and I don't just feel comfortable in my skin". None of these I actually believe to be an actual reason, I don't know maybe I'm expecting too much?

Personally, I believe this really came around when she hit puberty. Her sister (same age) hit puberty a few years before her. They have also always had very different builds/now figures. Daughter 1 (fully fledged terf) has always been bigger built, solid with thicker legs like me. Daughter 2 (the woke one) has always been a bean pole who can't gain weight for love or money like their (as in both, not singular 🙄) dad. Once puberty hit #1 got even more shapely, she's a proper hourglass, big boobs and big bottom. #2 has wide hips and no bust, to the point when she was wearing bras I couldn't find any small enough cup wise for her. She's got a tiny frame. I think it stems from wanting to be like #1 figure wise, #2 ie "gay" and obsessed with big boobs. I say "gay" because I'm not even convinced she's sure on that. She'll quote often refer to a man's appearance in a sexual way, more so then an admiration if that makes sense. They both have the giggly conversations that teen girls do about which boynis cuter etc.

Sports wise, #2 doesn't really commit to any comment but she definitely doesn't agree with my (our!) View. Toilet wise, she doesn't see an issue with men being in the ladies. Every time we watch the news and yet another woman has been murder I have made a point of ranting the statistics off, her go to argument for any comment made against trans is the trans suicide rates- which I've asked her to show me the evidence, the numbers. I'm still waiting for that

It's a shame there's no way of proving the suicides are because they're mentally ill, rather than trans, and it would probably have happened regardless.

Don't forget the men in GirlGuiding .....

Came on to post that, all comments on fb are fawning plus one shaming others for angry reactions on the post (which has included the post clicking on their fb profiles to find said info)
Bet its not the actual struggle for LGB rights they want to teach the kids, rather the trans rights are human rights version of Pride

Urgh. That comment about ‘there are ways to explain things to younger girls too’ made my blood run cold.

It’s indoctrination into an ideology that prioritises validation of male paraphilias over female safety, so let’s brainwash them while they’re still young, eh?

The capture of Girlguiding is shocking tbh. Wtf have any of these organisations / children’s activity clubs got to with sexuality or identity? It’s just not relevant. Many of those who attend haven’t even reached puberty.
I used to be a helper with Brownies (age 7-10). I stopped when I couldn't commit to being there every week as I'd taken a course I had wanted to do for years that was on the same night. I don't understand the direction they're going in, they've allowed dangerous men to have senior positions, sold off their activity centres which are much more accessible than London, whilst keeping an expensive HQ in London and closed down almost all of BGO (British Guiding Overseas). Absolutely shame on them. Girls are not safe there anymore.

Girlguiding are quite a dangerous organisation in my opinion. They must have one or two people in very senior positions that have a trans kid and they have full embraced it all. When my daughter used to go we used to get asked for feedback once in a while. I volunteered that the local women delivering were great but that Guides needed to focus on a wider mix of activities drawing from DofE and perhaps taking the best out of the WI to try to focus on seeing fellow girls as support and future friends. A lot of their activities are mind numbingly boring and they face a massive drop off aged around 13. I got a really defensive reply about a month later bragging about their approach to trans and pride as if I should think 'oh well, everything else is tit but at least they're welcoming the boys in'.

I've started going all aggressive when TRAs start being "b-but trans people are being LITRULLY MURDERED" for being trans. Oh yes? Like who? Name them. Go on. Don't wait for the translation, name them. Then follow that up with, and that many women born women were murdered in the last n weeks, but nobody says their names, now do they. Then push them to assess this as a percentage of the population of trans people and women.

They usually self caricature at that point.

Men will soon be allowed to enter a women's-only artwork in Australia, following a high-stakes court case over the matter.

The decision to allow "persons who do not identify as ladies" to access the exhibit will come into effect in 28 days.
Well, I guess nothing highlighted misogyny quite like that court case ☹
