Yep. My sister knows someone whose son is now her daughter and it’s the exact same story. Her other son gets pushed aside. We bumped into them in town once and we had to hear all about her ‘daughter’s’ new sparkly dress but when her son started talking about football he got told we wouldn’t be interested in football by his brother who is now his sister.
However I’m a terrible woman, I actually like football so I had a good conversation with him.

Just saw this in an Associated Press article. In a 20 page declaration issued by its doctrine office
the Vatican repeated its rejection of “gender theory,” or the idea that one’s biological sex can change. It said God created man and woman as biologically different, separate beings, and said people must not tinker with that or try to “make oneself God...It distinguished between gender-affirming surgeries, which it rejected, and “genital abnormalities” that are present at birth or that develop later. Those abnormalities can be “resolved” with the help of health care professionals, it said.
I wonder how that will square in traditionally Catholic countries such Spain and Ireland that are full-on pushing gender ideology to their citizens?
The Catholic Church seems to have taken itself off the fence in stark contrast to the C of E where the General Synod voted unequivocally to affirm trans people in 2017. I’m not religious, but at least if I walked into a Catholic Church, I could pretty much guarantee it wouldn’t be decked out with a progress flag on the alter.

@Metropolis, Ireland hasn’t been a Catholic country certainly since the last census if not the one before that. Many millennials turned their back after the SA scandal and lots of other scandals. Seminary closed in Belfast and Maynooth is tiny now edited to say just checked and it has 20 trainee priests

Same. I know someone with 2 girls and 2 boys. One of the boys is trans and all she does is gush about that particular child.

I was in a seaside town at the weekend and saw a trans in the wild. Mr S couldn't believe it and I made sure we gave him no attention so he couldn't get off on it. Build like a brick tit house with his balls flapping under a dress. He will never be anything more than a p but I have to share a bathroom with him. I have zero time and tolerance for this garbage anymore.
