Avon now using men to advertise lippy. Yes men can wear makeup, but who are Avons main demographic. When I was working not one man wanted to look at the Avon book when it went round the office, and I always made a point if offering it to them!

I often see men, with full beards, advertising/demonstrating make up and skin care on Instagram. They have about 2 inches square of non-hairy skin available to show the products on their face. Utterly pointless.
But alas ChurchofEngland has already welcomed this nonsense by allowing Progress flag altar cloths and trans vicars.

Witnessed a real life example of the madness today doing diversity training where they were talking about Mother's and 'Birthing people'. Doctor pipes up and says:
'sorry for sounding ignorant but aren't birthing people, Mothers'?
'well no, some pregnant women might be transitioning to men and feel uncomfortable with a female description'.
'OK, fair enough, but and again sorry if I'm sounding ignorant but if you identify as a male and your dysphoria is so strong you need to transition to being male, why would you want to be pregnant because that would surely make the dysphoria worse and you wouldn't want to do anything that is to do with your gender at birth?
'.......' and changes the topic.
FWIW I'm still in the camp of being fine with people transitioning as grown adults who have gone through the appropriate mental health screening and appropriate healthcare, but I do not support the erosion of women. I must say the conundrum as described above has always baffled me.

Plus even if it makes them feel uncomfortable so what? Why do we change the language that’s been used for centuries to accommodate the less than 0.1% of the population who find it “uncomfortable”? Why do we all have to bend to accommodate someone else’s discomfort?
That's always annoyed me as well, if you hate being a woman so much why would you go ahead and do the most womanly thing possible by getting pregnant and giving birth? I think it's total hypocrisy.

Because cisgender people are privileged and therefore can't have hurt feelings and if they do they should just go and educate themselves on the struggles of trans people. See I would assume religious beliefs are protected under the Equality Act right? But so are Gender Critical opinions, as Maya Forstater's case proved.
That seems to be at odds with the Scottish law.
UK citizens will be tying themselves in knots trying not to butthurt anyone while the world falls apart around us. Russia will be sending a nuclear bomb but as long as trans people can change their birth certificates it's all good

I actually don’t mind the Avon thing. It doesn’t look like it’s a man pretending to be a woman just a man wearing makeup and being gender non conforming?
The thing is though, once you remove the AGPs and those with mental health issues then there’s hardly anyone left. I’d actually argue there’s no one left. And even you do subscribe to the idea of there being ‘genuine’ people who are ‘born in the wrong body’ then where do they work out, get incarcerated, go to the loo, try on clothes etc..? They end up in women’s spaces.

So triggered by anything female (despite going through pregnancy and birth) has gone through the legal system to try and change the birth certificate so ‘he’ doesn’t have to have ‘his’ name under Mother. But funny now Freddy was able to endure 9 months of the very thing only the female body was designed to do. It’s ok to be female when it suits themselves and they gain something from it.
Freddy is more concerned for ‘him’self than for his own child. The birth certificate is for the child, not Freddy. And the child deserves to know who birthed them (I don’t know if the child is male or female.)
Thank God Freddy failed every appeal and has nowhere else to go with it.
It'd be worth JKR being charged just for the ensuing court case with the best barristers a billionaire's money can buy

Those are my thoughts too. If dysphoria is so great that you have to transition and not just be a butch woman, why do the most female thing a woman can do? Am I missing something?
That would be epic. We need a big event that the press can't avoid reporting on to really bring this out in the open and finish it off
Completely agree with birth certificates being for the child and not the parent. It is a record of birth, a piece of history.
Can you imagine in 100 years time what a nightmare it would be to trace your family history. Ancestry.Com in 2124 is going to be impossible. So many of the family trees are done by finding out mother/father by going through census records and making an educated guess from birth certificates.
Exactly. Men can wear lipstick as much as they want, just don't expect it to magically turn them into a woman.
