This makes me so mad. I'm a female footballer and whenever I play with/against men, the difference is infallible. They're quicker, more agile and, of course, far stronger. I had a light tackle with one average sized man in 5 aside the other day and went flying and I'm no dainty thing!
Women are far more aware and cautious of one another on the pitch (especially during training with your own team) and injuries directly caused by another player are not a common occurrence in non professional leagues. I don't mind a huge amount playing with men every now and then but I can tell how uncomfortable other female players can get, and it's totally understandable. The difference is we are aware they're men and know that we've signed up to play with them. If it was a man trying to pass as a female footballer to join the team permanently, I would be livid.

I wouldn’t worry to much about it Elagabalus is widely regarded as being certifiably insane and possibly the worst Roman Emperor ever. Hardly a big win for the Trans lobby.
It’s interesting that the Severan Dynasty always seems to be the target of rewritten history by modern day errr.…. “Academics”. Elagabalus was supposed to be the son of the previously deposed emperor Caracalla, and the grandson of the dynasties founder, Septimius Severus. Severus was a well established Roman general from an aristocratic family, who happened to be born in a colony in North Africa, which is all it took for modern day revisionists to declare he was Black. Interesting that Elagabalus doesn’t look very black or mixed race for the grandson of Severus. (Largely cos Severus wasn’t black). His successor, his brother Severus Alexander even less so.

I despise this 'transing' of historical figures. I actually think it's oppressive. They're looking at things through a 21st century lens and imposing their own thoughts and feelings on an issue on to this person who has been dead for centuries. Very colonial of them. I hope they see the irony.

The reason they have to ‘trans’ the dead is because there are no actual dead trans historical figures to use as examples, because being trans isn’t physically possible, it’s all an illness in the head. This is why they choose random historical figures and lie about them to try to gain some ‘credibility’.
