I'd love to understand more about these suicides they are always giving as proof of the "genocide" against them. These could be young people troubled for many reasons (more complex than I can describe). Is it more likely they've committed suicide due to complex mental health factors than trans discrimination?
To be honest, I just don't think it's true.

We hear constantly about "trans women" being murdered in their droves and yet there's never any evidence to back these claims up, likewise with all the supposed suicides.

Three women are killed each week in the UK; there is nowhere near the same level of murders of trans people, despite their constant claims of "trans genocide".

"The latest Transrespect report says there were 369 “reported murders of trans and gender-diverse people between 1 October 2017 and 30 September 2018” around the world.

Nearly half of those (167) took place in Brazil, and a further 28 were recorded in the United States.

According to these figures, there was one trans person murdered in the UK in that time, and a total of nine trans people were murdered in the UK between 2008 and 2017. That’s an average rate of one victim per year.

A back-of-envelope calculation based on this data would suggest that the average trans person has a one-in-200,000 to one-in-500,000 chance of being murdered in the UK over the course of a year."

I would say based on these stats, it's us women who should be fearing for our lives.

WTAF - being a lesbian is at odds with biological reality?! Read that again you homophobic wanker. Say that to a gay man and see what reaction you would get.

But where is all this trans discrimination?

Schools are happy to trans young people and pander to whatever pronouns they want to use.
All public institutions are captured and everywhere you turn people are displaying colored flags. We've even got decorated police cars now.

The only push back is from people like Kellie-jay and some others on social media. So if you don't read negative comments on social media then you're not really experiencing any discrimination, other than seeing some comments from people who don't agree you can change sex. There's no women (or men) running around the streets trying to stop trans people from living their lives and they are protected by employment laws that would stop discrimination in the same way as racism, sexism etc.

I just don't buy that trans people are discriminated against. There's far more racism going on still than there is people being actively offensive to anyone trans from what I've seen.

I just saw on Twitter that the Head of Influencing and Programmes at Oxfam used to be Head of Policy at Stonewall and I googled it and it's true.

I saw Gender Wars on C4 about Kathleen Stock and her invitation to the Cambridge Union, Debating society, debating whether or not people have the right to say things that offend others!

I thought this was a fair and reasonable documentary, that did present both sides of the discussion. Although Kathleen Stock and her logic won hands down!

I hadnt really seen Kathleen Stock before, and what struck me, was that in many respects she doesnt look like the stereotypical 'woman'. if a transwoman dressed as she did, wore no make up, and had short hair, they wouldnt look like their interpretation of a woman! So what definitions are they using to define a woman? Kathleen Stock is a biological woman and happy to be a woman, with short hair, no make up, masculine clothing and a masculine stance when sitting down!!!! It must do the heads of transwomen in!

It's not going very well in the comments section below that article:

"You are a woman in a heterosexual marriage. You do not have the slightest authority to yoke lesbian and gay sexuality with the idea that children should be exposed to sexual paraphilias. I lived through section 28, when the kind of view you are espousing was given as a reason to paint every gay person as a pervert. You are damaging equality with every word. You are regressive. I just want to marry my gitlfriend and hold her hand without being called a pervert. You have made that harder to acheive. You are no ally."

"Pride celebrations (formerly "gay pride") are no longer about celebrating gay lives and love, but have somehow become a celebration of "queer" -- which, in my experience as a gay person, is mostly heterosexuals who define themselves as that because they think their own sexual expression is more daring than that of others.
We in the gay community fought for years to dissuade people of the notion that we were somehow dangerous to children. Articles like this put us back decades; we will have to deal with the fallout, while straight couples like this one can just identify their way out of it and go on their way.
Why on earth did the Post publish this trash?"

My goodness, what a day to be alive:

British cycling finally coming to its senses and recognising that biology matters - a lot. They haven't gone far enough, but it's a start. And, yes, Emily, your response is indeed 'hysterical', albeit not in the precise way that you mean. Referencing Rwanda is almost ironic given that it's a country that truly knows what 'genocide' means: and spoiler alert, it doesn't mean a bunch of trans-women being prevented from unfairly competing in women's sport;

Gillian Keegan stating that the long-awaited guidance for schools on transgenderism will state that parents must be informed if their children declare that they are transgender/non-binary. It's ridiculous that this even needs stating. In what other area affecting the mental health of a pupil would the parents not only be informed, but also consulted? It should be an intrinsic part of pastoral care to involve the parents in such sensitive issues. Regardless of your view on transgenderism, if a child is going through an identity crisis, involving the parents should be paramount unless there are very rare, and genuine safeguarding issues. And if that's the case, then social care should be involved - the school shouldn't just 'affirm' and carry on; and

Finally, off-topic, the reason I started reading Tattle was Phil Schofield - and his chickens are truly coming to roost today!

BTW, can someone tell me how to post a newspaper article so that you see what the article says as all the links on Tattle do - I only know how to copy a link. Thanks in advance!

Well, well, well, it seems little miss gluey trans activist comes from the Jack Monroe school of false claims. Like Jack, she too claims she’s always been working class all her life. Unlike Jack, she and her family have a massive luxury private swimming pool in the grounds of their 6 bed 850 grand house 🙄 Always the least oppressed claiming they are the most.

Those fetishists don't really want to be women. They're just interested in the parts of womanhood that sexually excite or gratify them - lingerie, short skirts, make-up, etc

I've previously mentioned the TIM seeking conversion in our community. Before services, we always have to set up food and drinks. It's generally women who do it, sometimes some men help out. The TIM always, without fail, sits around doing nothing, and probably has never so much as set a foot in the kitchen.
I guess he doesn't even realise that his entire attitude and body language scream "male".

So up to 150,000 suffer life threatening complications.

Numbskulls. No sympathy here.

Any major operation is risky ; most people receive them because of emergencies to keep them alive , or stop them from being permanently maimed ( accident injuries etc)

Who they hell would deliberately put themselves at risk for unnecessary invasive operations?
Exactly 💯 I had an argument with a TIM on twitter about HRT and how there are shortages, and I said why you should get that over real women who don't choose to go through menopause? Then he had a tantrum about how it was LITERALLY LIFE SAVING CARE etc. Piss off. They make a choice to put themselves through unnecessary medicalisation and procedures so it's on them.

I saw a young female couple in the supermarket yesterday walking arm in arm. Looked around 20. One had long hair tied back with a rainbow scarf. One was all in black, looking “masc”, with a buzz cut… and a walking stick. I thought huh, that’s a very Gen Z depiction of queerness right there. Ticking so many oppression boxes.

Ugh Tan France is one smug man. Abhorrent entitlement.
Isn’t it interesting that rich gay male couples always have boy babies? I’m thinking of Elton John and David Furnish, Tom Daley and Dustin Lance Black, now Tan France. Six babies purchased and not a girl to be seen. That ain’t no coincidence.

Although, having said that, it’s probably for the best that men who don’t want to raise girls so badly aren’t raising girls.

Innocent have bizarrely come out in support of Mermaids, despite their very soon and upcoming court case verdict.

You can imagine how well it’s going for them…🤭

Don’t forget to check out the replies they’re frantically hiding too 😉

I wish companies would just sell their products instead of trying to virtue signal on an issue that’s incredibly polarising…..great way to loose lots of business.

I heard someone called a biological essentialist on a film podcast the other day, like you would refer to a flat-earther - so unenlightened, so uneducated. It’s gaslighting, biological essentialist is correct, biology did not create gender roles or stereotypes but it is the reason women have always had separate spaces throughout history. Often because the patriarchy is terrified of periods and cast them as ‘unclean’. The other because men rape other men’s property (women) and women create the children so they must be controlled.

On another podcast they were discussing Frankenstein the film - and the male podcaster was going on about the godlike power Dr Frankenstein wanted to create life and how blasphemous that was when it was released and the female podcaster thankfully
pointed out that a feminist reading of the female writer was that she was critiquing a man’s obsession about but inability to do what women did every single day - create life. The male podcaster had ‘never thought of it that way’.

Trans represents the decline of western civilisation to me. We took away kids stresses with attachment parenting and smoothed their path with helicopter parenting and let them live at home until 35 and they come up with new ways to be oppressed.

My fave quotes (paraphrased because I don’t want to watch it again:

‘Pride month is great for me to celebrate who I am.’ Does this not seem massively self-involved? Why the f*ck should anyone have to celebrate who you are?! Unless you’re actually doing something meaningful with your life, just sit down and get on with it like the rest of us.

‘I try to make my interactions with customers memorable (for them).’ Ummm, mate people are calling you to do banking. They don’t want to listen to your charade of womanhood, your narcissistic self-obsession, just help them get their banking done and let them get on with their lives.

No surprise that for him, this all started in lockdown… all that time to think about himself.

That's a Nationwide "colleague"? So now we have to deal with blokes in womanface when applying for a loan? Thank god for internet banking 🙄

Why aren’t paediatrician and child psychologists speaking out about the fact that children aren’t sexual beings? Sexuality (as in BEING sexual) isn’t something that occurs until adolescence. Not to say kids can’t have innocent crushes or know that they are gay/straight/bi. But they don’t have impulses to ACT on those crushes until they are teenagers. Those hormones just aren’t being released while kids are still, well, kids. So there really is no need for them to explore their sexuality yet. I feel so sorry for kids with woke parents, dragging them along to these events or giving them these books. If I had been exposed to this kind of material as a child, it would have frightened me. I think it’s doing far more damage to expose children to adults behaving this way and I seriously doubt that it encourages children to ‘explore their sexuality’ in a safe way. Human beings have been figuring out their sexuality, preferences and ‘kinks’ since the dawn of time. We don’t suddenly need parades and shows to teach kids how to do it while they’re still children.

Just been told on twitter (by a trans identified male obviously) that biological women who get breast implants, take HRT or have a vaginoplasty are doing it to ‘affirm their gender’.
Actually piss off. Biological women do not surgically alter their body to ‘affirm their gender’, they do it for medical reasons or aesthetic reasons (bc as women, every single one of us has been told by the patriarchy from birth that regardless of what we look like, we’ll never be good enough 🤪). Honestly, spare me the bullshit.
How can anyone claim that saying stuff like that is ‘progressive’ and ‘left wing’? It’s fucking disgusting and anyone who thinks that feminism is in any way compatible with trans ideology is utterly deluded.

Can I have a rant please? Today I went to the Autism Show with my son. They have loads of information stands pertaining to education, law sensory needs etc. There are also lots of different speakers who give advice and insight into different experiences of autism. Anyway one of the speeches was on ‘being autistic and transgender’.

One of the people involved in this section was a male in his 30s, wearing a pink headband with bows on each side. He was wearing like a knitted string t shirt with a visible bra underneath, pink trousers and was walking around with a teddy bear under his arm. This was a person happily engaging with impressionable young people, strutting around the place. He was redolent of those men on YouTube you see identifying as little girls. My heckles went up.

Transgender people talk of not feeling safe; well, I can tell you, I was actually scared of going to the toilets (in a different, quieter part of the building) in case I encountered this individual there. I said as much to my son and he said he could see why.

Anyway, when I got home, I regaled this tale to another of my sons and he told me when he was on the way home from school yesterday (public transport), a bloke got on, (again sporting a hair band marketed at little girls) wearing a bra over the top of a shirt. There wasn’t much room on the bus and he kept beckoning over the year 7s, saying there was space next to him. My son (6th from) said everyone was saying wtf and was feeling uncomfortable. These AGPs are walking brazenly amongst us and are enjoying the buzz. :mad:
It makes me deeply, deeply uncomfortable that the autistic community have fully embraced gender ideology and are basically complicit in the grooming of vulnerable young people.
