“Asked if the new policy was discriminatory…”

Of course the discrimination that was women facing not being able to compete against average middle-aged males has taken a back seat until now.

This thinking (isn’t this mean to a certain subset of males??) really highlights the problem with law changes and societal pressure that X (which is not Y) literally IS Y. That has to be unwound.
---

This is a “violent act”, Emily has friends “getting hate crimed all the time”, and British Cycling are “furthering genocide.”

All because a male has been told to compete in sports events with other males rather than obliterating female sport.

Emily anticipates “cherry-picking” but of course taken separately or together, the statements made are absurd hyperbole if not out-and-out nonsense. Such posts must be challenged politely but firmly, and the insane claims of “violence” or “genocide” from males being told NO, in particular must be pushed back on.
Why do they constantly use the term genocide? I’m utterly mystified. Has not one of them looked at the dictionary definition of genocide? It’s so far off base I just cannot fathom why they think using this term is appropriate. In fact come to think of it, I’m deeply offended at their flagrant misuse of the term on behalf of the people in history who HAVE suffered genocide.

I'm so pleased with this British Cycling decision!!
Me too though I read that “British Cycling still recommend that non binary individuals and trans women should use the female changing rooms to shower and undress” 😡😡. They’re just a bunch of bloody perverts!!! It’s got nothing to do with winning races they just want access to women in a vulnerable state!!

I'm a gay man and I worry for my Mum and Sister. I don't want a man to be able to perform medical examinations on them, be in the same ward as them (or god forbid prison !) or go into the same toilets as them. I also HATE how this cult has took over the community, it's disgusting ! and they're using kids to push their agenda. It just all feels so 1950's, a boy is effeminate so needs to undergo mutilation and hormone therapy, and vice versa for a girl who is a tomboy. Sending my love and full support to all you terf's and all those who are brave enough to call this for what it is, MADNESS !

The more it gets publicised, the more others will realise they aren’t “wrong” or transphobic.
Softly, softly..

Jings that post From Emily Bridges 😱😱😱 Yes, you do comes across as hysterical dear.

Nobody is saying you can't cycle, you just need to keep cycling with the same people that you've always cycled with - men!!!
The mask is slipping isn't it? This is about being "accepted" it's about mediocre men who want to get their self esteem from beating women (at sports).

I work in a hospital and someone keeps putting these stickers in the toilets, they keep getting removed but by the end of my shift there’s a new one up.
I’ve seen 1 trans member of staff, built like a brick shit house with a crappy wig, must be around 60. Just hope he uses the mens toilets and changing facilities.

I went in an oxfam shop the other day and it was PACKED with pride flag merchandise- literally everything new was pride related. Posters, stands etc. When will any organisations put some thought into making things more inclusive for people with a visual impairment? Or learning disabilities? Or hearing impairment, or those who can’t enter 90% shops due to no wheelchair access etc etc etc - no one gives two hoots about any of these people yet they’ll advertise and boast and spend £££ on rainbow flags. For what? If you’re the type to buy a rainbow mug, you’ll have done it without it surrounding you for a month.
Making adjustments for people with disabilities requires actual thinking and spending money rather than just virtue signalling, which any company can do by hanging up a flag to show how ‘inclusive’ they are. Inclusivity these days is all about promoting LGBTQIA (ad infinitum) with little regard for any other minority groups. Having a disability is the least fashionable of these groups.

I am so pissed with the way the TQIA has attached itself to the LGB. Back in the day, I marched for lowering the age of consent for gay people so it was inline with that of heterosexuals and went on anti clause 28 demos. I am not homophobic for wanting to retain single-sex spaces or wanting to protect kids from this endless gender propaganda.

Trying to order a home testing kit and have to be smacked in the face with it all. I know they want to be inclusive but fucking hell, can we not even have ‘man/woman’ as a choice? I’m not A FEMALE. I AM FEMALE. There’s a difference. How come trans ‘woman’ is listed but not an actual woman? We have to be females? They get the word woman? Arghhh.

Also - sorry Oxfam, but your charity shop network absolutely runs on women volunteers. Most charity shops do. Rarely see men working on them. I’m sure all the chief execs are men. Women have always done more voluntary charity work (also due to being out of the workplace for various reasons). Don’t shit all over the women you will regret it.

Ahh pride month, as a gay man it means nothing now, hijacked by the WiFi password community. When saying a woman is an adult human female, can get you called a bigot, then we are really in 1984 esque territory ☹

I'd love to understand more about these suicides they are always giving as proof of the "genocide" against them. These could be young people troubled for many reasons (more complex than I can describe). Is it more likely they've committed suicide due to complex mental health factors than trans discrimination?
I haven’t heard of a single case of a child claiming to be transgender in this country killing themselves because of transphobia, let alone a “mass genocide”. Given the amount of media coverage trans people are afforded, a “literal” trans genocide would be front page news in the papers, leading story on news coverage on TV, and Twitter would be like a malfunctioning machine spitting out the receipts. But none of that happens. Because what they are claiming isn’t real.

I feel like this movement only progressed to this extent because we all had our eyes off the ball. The pandemic really let it get a foothold but now so many people have woken up to the reality of what this means for women and children.

I also think Sam Smith and his ridiculousness really highlighted the insanity and selfishness of the movement.

Honestly, it's only a matter of time before it's all going to crumble and it will 100% be the trans communities own fault because they failed to regulate their peers. 🤷‍♀️ I will never again be taken in under the guise of "be kind" or "live and let live" so I really should be thanking them 🙄😉

I’m scared to wade in, even anonymously on Tattle. Thank you for providing the other side of the debate. I was very live and let live, but didn’t quite appreciate the erosion of women’s rights (or just the erasure of women in general). It sucks that it can’t meaningfully be debated in public. Gender is a fluid, social construct. Biological sex is not.

I don’t care if men want to wear makeup and dresses. I’m not sure I care particularly if consenting informed adults transition. But there has to be an understanding that you will never be a biological woman, and that means there should be boundaries and restrictions on what you can do.

I removed the pronouns from my Insta account this morning. I’ll buy the new Harry Potter game next pay. Small acts of rebellion 😂

I’m sick of adults my age absolutely worshiping ‘gen z’ as if every stupid idea and opinion they have is genius and must be pandered to. No. They are mixed up kids like every other generation before them. There is a reason you get ‘older and wiser’. Because life teaches you lessons and we’d do well to listen to our elders and learn from them. Instead we disregard older people. They are dinosaurs, ‘Karen’s’ 🙄etc. And the ones that get me are the over 40s that go along with this and absolutely worship every stupid word that comes out a young person’s mouth in a desperate effort to be cool and not like those other stuffy old folks. Ugh. Bella Ramsey was not alive to see how women were discriminated against hence having male and female categories. She just walks in without a clue and is trying to take women back to a time where they had LESS opportunities? Good one Bella 👏 daft wee lassie.

If I decided to identify as a different race , I would be probably be deemed as mentally ill/bigot because I cannot know what it means to be a different race and their experiences. Transwomen do not fully understand what it means to be a biological woman to be socialised from birth that way, to have been historically oppressed throughout history. Things like hearing footsteps behind you at night , being mindful about not wearing too much revealing clothing. Knowing the vast majority of men can physically overpower you.
They will never be women.

My dad has Alzheimer’s and constantly misgenders everyone. Not because any of us are ambiguous in how we present, he just gets confused. The idea of anyone getting angry with him about it is ludicrous. He genuinely can’t remember things, it would be cruel to point it out to him. These people need to get over themselves. How much of a prick do you have to be to make YOURSELF the victim when dealing with someone who has Alzheimer’s 😡

" It says that people with dementia ‘should still be challenged’ if they express discriminatory views about transgender doctors or nurses, while their relatives may be ‘removed from the premises’ if they do the same."

Dementia can sometimes cause people to lose their inhibitions and make inappropriate comments. This is a medical problem, as their brain is damaged. The advice is not to confront them as this can simply escalate the situation. Instead we should try to change the subject and stop the comments that way. Organisations such as the Alzheimer's Society produce cards which family can discretely give out that explain that the person has a medical condition that may cause them to say inappropriate remarks (I can't remember the exact wording).

So the new advice is to confront a person (who's already confused by the world) and expect them to believe that the man in front of them is actually a woman. Good luck with that!

And the relatives, who are essential at an appointment to both give and receive information, can't say something like "yes yes, dear, you're right but oh look at that picture on the wall." to try and calm the situation - because then they'll be asked to leave. Good luck with having a meaningful appointment without the relative there.

It's already challenging to get someone with moderate or advanced dementia to attend a hospital appointment, without having the additional worry about the medic's hurty feelings.

And he was wearing mens clothing.

It's crazy.
But surely if he’s “non-binary” he can’t also identify as female and use the ladies changing room? Why can’t a non-binary use the men’s? Why is it ALWAYS the women’s facilities they want to access?

I think my brain is transed out.

I spoke to my sis, mentioned trans, she exploded, I mentioned TERF, she didn't know what it was and now she's decided that's what she is.

My niece decided the same. They're both having to make special accommodations at club camps for a 12 Yr girl who's decided she's a boy and managed to get puberty blockers (according to the typical grifter parents)

My boss, I mentioned it to her, off she ranted, and now she wants to go to Let Women Speak (I'll send her links).

She then spoke to a couple of her mates...... and they jumped in too.

My other boss, isn't so terfy but she's vocal.

I live in a village 🤣.
