I know some of you have had good experiences with male midwives but it’s just a hard pass from me. On the subject of men in male nurse roles or gynae doctors, my aunt was a nurse and knew a plastic surgeon who specialised in women’s vaginas (some women think they are ugly

and want surgery). Every person in that hospital knew him as a massive creep who purposely chose that specialty. Makes my skin crawl. Obviously ‘not all men’

but I do question the motives of men going into these jobs. Even the ones that seem lovely and professional
