Is Oxford worse than anywhere else like Brighton? Genuine question. I lived in Oxford for 30 years and it didn't seem especially 'woke' and especially compared to other universities and academia generally.

My sister lives in Brighton. It’s quirky lots with vivid hair. I’ve seen two men wearing skirts and another red lipstick there.Someone at my sister’s workplace identifies as Trans and changes with them in the female locker room. She started wearing her work uniform from home.

I’ve seen one person in a dress opposite me on the train in London. The salon we go to in Shoreditch also had a member of staff who wore mini skirts. I have been called a “hateful bigot” online, but I never said anything directly to hurt any of these folks.

Some of the tweets in response to the whistleblower are rather deluded.They don’t seem to understand how puberty blockers work. Also one asking the difference between females taking the contraceptive pill.

So a transwoman is a guy in a dress.
A transwoman is a woman and apparently has a right to enter everything female.
Transwomen identify as female/women even though they are biologically male and can still have male anatomy.
Transwomen can tick the female boxes.

Well, if that's a woman/female these days..... a man in woman's clothes with male parts then I don't identify with that because my anatomy etc doesn't match that.

So what boxes do I tick on forms now because I literally cannot say that I identify as female or that I even am female when men identify as female. The word means nothing now. Does that make sense?

Can I have a new sex/gender made up for people like me with original biological components that I identify with?

I'm thinking 'swamp hag'. Sex: Swamp Hag ☆

A friend of mine said a male colleague she works with went home one Friday as a man and came in on Monday as a woman. No indication previously that he was anything other than a regular bloke. On the first day he was straightaway using the women's toilets, no discussion was had with the women who work there how they felt about this. The level of entitlement is breathtaking. And of course she knows that if any of them protested it's their jobs that would be on the line. She's literally counting the days to retirment.

This is just stupid. A 43-year-old actual woman would be unlikely to win this race. It’s ridiculous that we are in this position. What started out as being polite and making allowances for social transition has literally turned into a man can become a woman, and we mustn’t say that’s not possible.

I’m a les, my partner is having fertility treatment. I’m LITERALLY the same as the possible future child’s biological father, okay? What do you mean, that sounds crazy? That people shouldn’t have to pretend to appease me?! That it’s not actually possible?? Sounds very bigoted, a les can be a father if she wants.

I'd have to kinda like ask the guys nicely if I could borrow their loos because there's a guy now using our loos and would they mind just watching out for me. Do a sneaky switch around.

I can't remember where I read it now.... there was one work place that introduced a gender neutral on top of a female and male loo. The trans insisted on using the female so the women started only used the neutral and trans managed to get their panties in a twist about that.

I always hear the word as cyst, as in cyst woman, which sounds like a disease! Or as if there is something inherently wrong with being born as a woman!

So frustrating! Why should I need to change my definitions to appease anyone else?

Since I re-educated myself on these matters I'm at pains to ensure my kids are not sucked into this claptrap. I bring it up regularly at home and am very pleased to say they now raise examples for us to discuss. I'm more proud of that than I am of a lot of stuff these days.

Cis reminds me of cysts as well. Which is ironic since I have PCOS a condition I have no control over and can only occur in women.

Also, I think it really shows how the term LGBT has been co-opted to meaning pro-trans, I know when I hear LGBT now I don't even think of gay people, the trans and non binary crowd have made the term all about them.
Sadly I think gay people will suffer from the inevitable pushback, they are being used as shields by the trans/gender woo crowd to hide behind.

It goes without saying, really. They will all be tarred with the same brush. I don't I don't have time for any LGBT people anymore. It is not for me to decipher out anything about you. I shouldn't have to and I am looking forward to the death of the bleeping rainbow crew and their cult. Live your life, sleep with any consenting adult that will have you, leave everyone else the duck alone. Your sexuality and or identity has never been anyone else's business and should never have been forced on society either.

The term "cis" needs to get in the bin, we are women, we don't need this qualifier.
I dislike how the TRAs use "cis" like we have some sort of "privilege" by being born women, like we are not a vulnerable group worthy of protection ourselves, a group subject endless violence and horror by men globally.
For them, being a woman is simply a matter of getting into the dressing up box and mincing about, they have no idea what being a woman is really like or what we go through.

It’s definitely about how these kids feel about themselves, as in they don’t fit the current trend of slim, big bouncy hair doo’s, lip fillers etc! Perfectly applied make up! It’s very much the new Goth scene! They’re all mostly over weight, have social awkwardness and I often wonder if a lot have been bullied for not being pretty or popular. They have an awful lot in common with school shooters if you ask me! I don’t really conform to the beauty standards of today, purely because I can’t afford to so I just make do! There’s a lot to be said for the way Social Media has groomed children into this or the lip fillers as 18th birthday gifts. When all is said and done I’m so glad I grew up in the 80’s/90’s. We really were lucky to have those times!

The most terrifying thing is how many women are in on it, are cheerleading for it, baffling.

There's a massive mental health crisis since the pandemic affecting adults and young people.

Loads of adults severely traumatised by isolation and/or not being able to see loved ones in hospitals or care homes. Then there's tons of children refusing to go to school as well now. Add into the mix toxic social media platforms like Tiktok where lunatics are given a platform and its no wonder kids are so confused

That’s not a long term MH issue though. That’s her reaction to a having a Trans daughter. She’s not dealing with it and tbqh I don’t blame her. It’s as if she’s trying to convince herself things will be ok if she confirms it all publicly to her child, but they’re clearly not ok and never will be! Honestly I think I would lose my mind if my child was captured by this!! I’m not condoning her behaviour. She needs time out! But I can not say I’m unsympathetic!
