She doesn’t mean that at all. Back when Boots and supermarkets labelled their tampon and pad aisles “Feminine Hygiene” none of us were getting philosophical about whether menstruation was a feminine act. It was just a clunky euphemism for period products, because god forbid anyone use the word “period”.
Snapes is pretty obviously saying that it’s not inclusive (aka wrong; offensive) to link menstruation and womanhood/being female. Because TMAM and TWAW zzzzzz

she used to be my local Councillor. In the last election, she lost her seat to a Green transwoman!!!And she was NS's right hand woman for years.

Weren't there rumours the swimmer was beating women easily so has eased up to make it look closer. Same with the British Cyclist. Who seems to think that being female means pouting with lip gloss!!!!
I think this is part of the reason why I hate a lot of the popular discussion of "internalised misogyny!" where any woman who doesn't like pink, doesn't wear makeup or dresses, doesn't like romance fiction, or have stereotypically feminine hobbies etc. is judged as displaying internalised misogyny. It's all part of the idea that woman equates to femininity and that's what a lot of TRA rhetoric centres around
I’ve been at an event today for women (going to deliberately keep it vague). I knew from the online event page that a TIM was going to be attending as a guest. I thought from his photo that he would be a young gay man struggling with internalised homophobia…bleeping hell I was wrong. Total catfish. He must have been at least 45 and stood out like a sore thumb due to his size. The filters on his photos had done a lot of heavy lifting.

I have no idea how and when it was passed - the idea that you can falsify your birth certificate and passport. Because that’s what it is. It’s utterly wrong. I expect it was done to appease a VERY small number of men. Such a small number it was assumed not to be a big deal for society. How wrong they were.
Went to the Celebrating Neighbours tour at the Armadillo in Glasgow last night. Left this on the toilet door.

I love (don't love) how TRAs claim that a large number of women are indistinguishable from men (including all butch women, all women with PCOS, etc.) and it's therefore unethical to have single sex toilets because "you'll have to ask every single woman entering the toilet to undress!"
Or use examples of gender critical women mistaking a real woman for a transwoman as "proof" that it's impossible to tell them apart. Like the shooting at the YouTube head office a few years ago - I think people assumed that was a man because, well, most mass shootings are committed by men, and crimes committed by transwomen are falsely attributed to "women" in the press. When photos were released of the perpetrator it became apparent she really was a woman. I remember seeing a big Twitter thread laughing at a GC account who had questioned if the artist Christine McConnell is biologically male, no she's not but the occasional mistake doesn't change the fact that most transwomen are PAINFULLY obvious

Feel slightly guilty posting pics of a private individual but they’re on the group and like to show off in tights- why are Snag using a man as a fit model?! Women have totally different shapes
