Couldn’t find Hags in my local Waterstones today. Didn’t have the time to find an assistant to ask but annoyed it wasn’t up at the front of the shop with the new books. I did however, see that kids book about the ‘trans girl’ 😣 I put another book in front of it 🤷🏻‍♀️ Best I could do apart from take it and bin it.

Been meaning to say I was pleased to hear Kathleen Stock on women’s hour this week and be allowed to talk freely about this. Such a change from when Emma Barnett absolutely grilled her about the events leading to her resigning from her job a couple of year ago. I’m hoping things are changing.

I think the easiest solution re trans in sports is to ring fence the women's events for competitors born female, and make men's events open.
Absolutely! And while we're at it, we could do the same to men's changing-rooms, men's toilets, and men's groups of any description. If TiM's feel that it's not "kind" to make them use these male facilities or join these male groups, then perhaps they could start some sort of media campaign, maybe asking men in general, to "be kind"? 🙄

Some more from twitter

Ngl I’m really shocked that fatdoctoruk doesn’t get discussed more! She has a thread on here!
Also, she’s had loads of complaints made about her bc of her behaviour on social media, she left her NHS position last year and had a run in with the GMC where she somehow managed to avoid being struck off, but they’re currently going for round 2 atm and I think this time she surely will be.

Exactly.

This is what fries my brain. Why is it entirely up to women to give up their spaces? Why is there no expectation that men should accommodate them?

Why is it that John who has now decided he is Jane and is going to wear a dress to work, can no longer share toilet facilities with Jack and Tom with whom he has shared facilities for years?
😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

Well of course, I know the answer, but duck THAT tit.

Sorry not sure if this has been covered. Shumirun Nessa, the female comedian on TikTok who called out Jeffrey Marsh for grooming children, has taken down her videos in response to threats. She says she received an email saying that not only do they know where she lives, but they also know where her daughters go to school (they gave an address) and when she picks them up and drops them off. They’ve also found pictures of her without her hijab and uploaded them to TikTok

I was confused as to what she had done because I don’t have TikTok but she says they’ve also damaged her car? Surely this is turning into something much bigger when you have people being sent death threats like this? It’s almost like domestic terrorism

Wow, I’ve never heard of this person!

Fingers crossed the GMC won’t look kindly on a second fitness to practice hearing. Parroting large activist propaganda is surely bringing the profession into disrepute? 😅

The TRAs have bullied, intimidated and threatened her into silence and submission. And then people wonder why so many women - who are against this insidious ideology - are so scared to speak up openly and condemn it. Because they are silenced in such a vicious and terrifying manner by people who are prepared to issue threats and partake in violent behaviour. They cry about how they're victims, one or two steps away from a genocide but then do this? I'm so angry for this happening to her, JK Rowling, Kelly, countless women who dared to speak out. She spoke the truth and in defence of children who are vulnerable and fall into the hands of JM and his ilk. I really hope the police help her and manage to find the guys who've threatened her and her daughters

I think I’m pretty openminded but I have to draw a line with this guy. I’ve mentioned him previously in the thread but now he gets to speak at the All About Women festival simply because he wears women’s clothing?!

Make it stop already!

Complete with pen thong because of course.

I know I'm scared to speak up because of exactly this. They won't just come for me, but my kids, my family. How can we fight when this is how they attack us? But also... how can we NOT speak up when THIS is what they do? I'm too scared to use my voice and too mad not to try, so where does that leave me?

And we all know the police won't do a damned thing to help. They will likely shrug it off, say they can't find out who it is, probably caution her against 'hate speech' and send her on her way. They (the attackers) got her to apologise so now they see it as a win. I don't blame her at all for backtracking... I would too!

Why on earth would you wear a pen thong in (what looks like) a public bathroom? Good grief

Funny how they don't go after the men saying the same thing -eg OdinsMen

This guy gives me the ick, BIGTIME. I feel like he is everywhere all of a sudden in Aus. He’s been in several ad campaigns and all the handmaiden influencers are just gushing over him. He’s lost quite a lot of weight since adopting this persona (much like Dylan Mulvaney). I find him deeply problematic and am afraid that he’s a sign that Australia is going down the path that you in the UK and USA are describing
