Don’t know if this has been mentioned but the QueenConsort hosted a IWD reception at BP. From the pictures it seemed to be all (female) women
Camilla’s a TERF I bet. She works closely with rape and DV charities so won’t be buying into this BS being peddled.

Reading all these threads/comments makes me extremely grateful for a safe place to discuss this. Without the fear of being outcast by family & friends. I’m of an age where I knew never to call someone queer. My parents would have given me some right shit for using that word. Especially my Mom. One of her best friends was gay. He’s passed now but I’ve so many fond memories of him. He was never anything but loved. Especially locally. No one ever judged him or hated on him. Bearing in mind he came out in the 70’s it was a big deal back then. I was raised to respect his choices and I feel like that’s what is lacking these days. Basic human decency and respect for others. Forcing opinions on people who grew up in an era that was crucial to gay rights. Men and women who marched and shouted to be seen and heard are now mocked and ridiculed on SM by kids in furry costumes and anime get up! I always feel like their parents have taught them nothing about respect but then I remind myself I know of good solid families that have always done right by their children and been heartbroken when they have turned to drugs. Early 90’s I knew a lot my age that went down the addiction route, whether it be drugs or alcohol but today it seems to be this cult of non-binary or trans or pan sexual etc. I don’t have any social media at all except for the account on here. Is Tattle social media? 🥴
I flick through the odd post on my nieces Instagram account, but I’m so glad to not be on it after a 5 minute scroll. I feel really lucky to have had a childhood without it.
I’m rambling now 😂 I just wanted to say it’s nice to read posts from people who have intelligent opinions on something that really matters.

Also, Jess Phillips knows exactly what she’s doing with that list. Quite canny Jess is. Very adept at playing both sides of the argument. Personally I can’t stand her. Unfortunately, a lot love her!

I do wonder what would happen if women decided to invent a comedy genre based around stereotypes associated with gay men? Would it be ‘fun’ then? I imagine a lot of people would find it very funny.
I can’t help feeling that the exact same arguments about ‘fun’ and ‘not meant to be serious’ were probably trotted out regarding the Black and White Minstrel Show. If you aren’t the demographic being poked fun at you don’t get to tell people they are wrong.

But Transwomen are Men. She's absolutely right to bang on about this because the whole TWAW rhetoric has led us to where we are. No one is born in the wrong body period!!!
Wikipedia article about Body Integrity Disorder which IS classified as a mental disorder Body integrity dysphoria - Wikipedia
Not sure why people can't understand that Trans is the same thing.
I have sympathy but I'm not indulging anyones fantasies

I agree. I haven’t watched all the video but I applaud KJK for not kowtowing to the #bekind mob. Nobody would think twice if a bloke said the same things KJK says and in the same manner, but women aren’t allowed to come across as ‘antagonistic’ or any way that might be perceived as ‘aggressive’ which for the record, I don’t personally think she does. She’s just telling the truth but we’ve become so afraid of causing anyone even the slightest bit of offence, that we’re now held hostage to a bunch of men’s mental illnesses and sexual kinks. I’m not indulging in it any more. You can call yourself what you want and dress however you like in public, but if you think I’m going to pretend that fishnet wearing Barry who has a beard and a pair of balls dangling out from underneath a mini skirt is a ‘she’ because it’s polite, you can get fucked.

Why is it ridiculous? Presumably you wouldn’t mind if they were all straight? I have only recently found this thread and whilst I agree with some aspects this just seems a bit homophobic to me.
Statistically it is improbable that not one of the friend group is heterosexual or biologically the correct sex since birth.

My employer has just rebranded the maternity policy to the ‘maternity and pregnant parent policy’ and changed the language to gender neutral. I didn’t have involvement in the changes but I did have to lead an organisational workshop to explain and ‘celebrate’ the changes 😩😭 people were LOVING it, senior leaders pointing out the typos where the word ‘her’ had been missed and beaming with pride that they are absolutely on the inclusive ball. Little virtual rounds of applause animations flying about my screen. Don’t know what I’m supposed to do in these scenarios 🙄 don’t really want to establish a reputation for myself as the HR person that hates minority groups 🙄

These people are clearly medically incompetent and most of the comments agree with us.
wtf, the risk factor for biological men who don't have a uterus or ovaries is basically 0. How dumb. This sort of wishy-washy discussion of women's medical issues just further isolates women who don't speak English as a first language or who have lower levels of literacy. The average reading age in the US and UK isn't that high. Clear and concise language is important!

Ok but is it really that mind blowing that gay people may choose to associate with other gay people? I just don’t understand why you seem so bothered by it that’s all
Who is bothered about it? The original poster said they thought it was ridiculous that a group of teenagers were all identifing as gay/pansexual/non binary. And I agree. Teenagers are getting sucked into this stuff and slapping a label on themselves to try and fit in. It's a social contagion. I really suggest you stick around and read previous threads, a few parents of teenagers have discussed this and it is quite shocking.

It wouldn't be a big deal if gender identify wasn't so toxic and kids weren't getting pushed down the road of puberty blockers and surgery. Cutting patents out of big decisions. And so on.

Ovarian cancer has such appalling survival rates because the symptoms can be missed for other things and women are often dismissed with symptoms until it’s too late. Muddying the water by saying ‘most people’ who get it are women is just ludicrous.

Until prostate cancer UK and the like have to stop saying ‘men’ then you know it’s not about bloody inclusivity

Yes I've noticed it too. I was on M&S app looking at knickers and reading the reviews, I noticed lots of TIM's saying how comfortable and flattering they were 'as a trans woman' 🤮. The knickers the TIM's liked were such a cliche too , silky, lacy, frillys, scanty panties-style knickers 🙄. So AGP dahrlinng...
Also Snag tights, their NSFW facebook page is full of TIM's getting their kicks wearing tights and getting told how beautiful, brave and stunning they are.
I don't want to see men taking advantage of spaces for women to share their opinions just so they can indulge their fetish - it is the equivalent of flashing or a dick pic, it's a power thing as men make you see them whether you want to or not.
Women can't have anything for themselves 😒

This is actually terrifying. And there is no way to report the comments. Iloveknickers and underwearsdresser, doesn’t seem odd at all.

I noticed the M&S AGPs last year.

Just goes to show how insidious this stuff is. Nowhere is safe from skeevy blokes. Up until recently cross dressers would never have had the gall to parade their fetish in product reviews. I feel gross just reading them.

Bring back kink shaming.
Yeah I've noticed them popping up in M&S review section. There was one I saw last year that was reviewing period pants about how he liked urinating in them 🤢 I think it must have got to taken down though as it wasn't there a week later. You would think that any reviews would be checked over before they went live into the site!

Times Square NYC used Dani St James, a TIM to advertise IWD.
Of course it did 👎

Been reading different accounts on IWD and what it means to be a woman. Sick of reading about our ‘identity’ as women. What about those of us that don’t have a ‘gender identity’? Who is representing us? For a group that is so gung ho about respecting identities, where is the respect for those of us who are just women just because we’re born that way? No gender identity here.

Why have all the basic principles of safeguarding been dumped in favour of men's feelings and desire to do what the hell they want? safeguarding looks at what harm could happen as a result of something and takes steps to aim to ensure it can't happen not just to blindly assume nothing bad will happen or that everyone is essentially a decent person.

Drag story time is grooming, plain and simple. Men in women's prisons is a disaster and complete affront to our rights. That's just two areas that have been highlighted recently.

Absolute madness.
