The same father figure who earns a living exploiting you online?! I hope that at least one of those kids sues the a off their parents. It makes my blood boil, this “it was his idea” bull, he’s a kid who is legally not allowed to do many things given his minor status but in our ducked up world his work shy parents are allowed exploit him for cash and people actually salute them for it.

I came here as I just saw a surgery story on Instagram. This is going to make me sound old fashioned but I think there is a serious failure in the western world that young people are so focused on the self that they think discussing their gender is somehow noble or worthy. So many failures - social media being no.1.

You do do you? Do you know what it’s like to get a heavy period at work and have to stay in your seat until everyone leaves the office so you can wipe it down? Or try to convince the guy valeting your car that the stain on the front seat isn’t blood?

I had an iron transfusion recently because mu periods are so bad. My make GP was very supportive but the male hospital doctor just casually mentioned that most women in my situation get a hysterectomy, like it’s no big deal!

F this, you’re a man you couldn’t know more about women’s menstrual cycles because you’ve never actually had a period. So you can read about it, same as I can read about male bodily functions but I won’t know more about them then men because I am after all not a man!

That is completely shocking considering Claire was the lead singer of pretty much every song and Faye and Lisa? Also sang while the men basically danced around. The women should definitely have earned twice the men’s salary. You hear the music, you barely hear a male voice on there.

I think some form of National Service working in retail or hospitality would be a good idea - might stop people being quite so nasty to those working on a till or bringing them their coffee if they'd been on the receiving end.

I have worked in hospitality and found customers to be mostly kind and polite. At the end of the day it was my job to give them great service, not the other way around. I have noticed recently, since this woke keyworker bull sh** came about that many retail workers think the sun shines out of their own backsides, don't know how to say please and thank you, let alone have a nice day. It's the retail workers who need to learn respect and I say that as a former retail worker myself.

Well they would need to do it retrospectively cause it's the old farts who are the worst offenders when it comes to treating retail or service staff like subhuman!! Speaking from my years in retail

The conversation was re (young) people being self obsessed/influenced by social media and believing all this gender tit and whether National Service would be useful. The other poster suggested working for organisations such as the NHS, food banks and national parks etc. I think those organisations would not be of any use to counter that mindset, as they are too woke, and likely to pander to that train of thought - just look at all the tit diversity and inclusion type jobs in the NHS and other such organisations. And yes, I do have family who work in the NHS.

Foodbanks are a lifeline for many people and they don't discriminate - if someone is referred to them, they give them food. Most food banks are run by churches so no, not particularly woke. The NHS has many issues - the way whistleblowers are silenced, scandals like the baby heart surgeon in Bristol, and the fact that they are quite Stonewall-y etc etc., I'm not denying that - but to say "they are too woke to be of much use" is totally ridiculous.

You are ignoring the context here, much use in terms of educating and training young people not in terms of their actual use ie cancer care

Quoting someone word for word to try and tell them what they know they said is pointless, they can read and you are the one missing the point here.

H got a lot more solos in Steps at one point than Lisa did. Total coincidence I’m sure that it was because he had been secretly sleeping with the groups manager. Faye at the time said herself she noticed H getting put forward more and she was losing verses.
