H from Steps blocking everyone is funny but also isn't it a bit sad that a grown man felt the need to use some blockbot? Yeah there's a lot of tit on twitter but why are people so afraid to see opinions they might not necessarily agree with - surely just scroll by and don't engage. It is bizarre how triggered people get by the TERFs of twitter 😂

Right well this isn’t true at all. The menstrual cycle isn’t just controlled by estrogen levels alone for a start, it’s incredibly complex and also requires GNRH, FSH, LH and progesterone. You’re also going to need some endometrial tissue so that you can actually bleed, which we all know, males don’t have.
So no, not just anyone with ‘high estrogen levels’ will have a period lmao.

The existence of these Terfblocker type scripts explains why so many of the pro TRA types so confidently say things like: "The vast majority of people agree with me..."

...cos you've blocked every fucker with a counter argument, that's why...🤷

I’d hazard a guess that the vast majority of gender critical people on Twitter are blissfully aware of the existence of the nonentity that is H from Steps and that it’s highly unlikely they were tagging him in anything or harassing him.

They’re so disillusioned with it all. A lot of these kids are being brainwashed, or sucked in to some Social Media/TikTok hype. Many are both autistic and vulnerable and when it doesn’t bring them happiness they still have to prove to everyone they made call them all this He/Her/She/They bollox, that it’s definitely what they want and they made the right decision.
There’s a really good podcast with Helen Joyce speaking to Winston Marshall. I assume most on here have already listened to it, if you haven’t, I highly recommend it. She explains it simply but also in great detail.

I’m also blocked by H from Steps aka Ian Watkins. I have never interacted with him or even viewed his Twitter profile. I don’t have a TERF bio or username but I have retweeted a couple of No to self ID’s! After reading his support for Mermaids I think his name suits him perfectly.

@mozzarellagirl I’m feeling your pain being resident gender lecturer. The news came on and a Scottish transwoman was talking… long blonde hair but aside that, nothing screaming ‘woman’. My 3 year old asked, ‘Is that a boy or a girl?’ I said it’s a boy dressed up as a girl 🫠 then began my sermon.

My dad said, ‘So we need three toilets then really, male, female and other for people who don’t feel comfortable in either?’ Great plan Dad but it wouldn’t stop TRAs fetishists wanting to use the ladies to take selfies for ‘duck TERFS’ Twitter.

I said that we aren’t collateral damage if MEN can’t be civil to other men regardless of what they look like. My mum ended the lecture with, ‘I think everyone’s switched off now’ 😡 I tried!

Not sure if this should be on the gender thread or the dating thread but I am beginning to question whether I will bother with men again. I’ve only dated one woman in my life but I feel like I am talking to brick walls with 98% of men. The ones who do care probably don’t deep down, or is that me being a cynic?

Given how many handmaidens are out there, I'd say you're better off with Men, atleast the level of expectation is lower and there are plenty of Men sticking their heads above the parapet, particularly sportsmen. Tom Daley is definitely in the minority.

@holliebollie, if/when my current relationship ends, I can’t see me being able to stand any more relationships with men, so i think I get what you’re saying. (I’m sure the nation’s men won’t mind 😀.) Even the better ones don’t think we’re real people, not really.

Same here, I plan to get a cat 🐈.
The "cat lady" trope as an insult always cracks me up, like who are you insulting by stating that a woman would rather spend her time devoted to a creature that spends it's time licking itself rather than tolerate a man in her life?

I’m only late thirties but feel I’ve missed the boat to settle down.. I live in a bit of an odd place where everyone marries someone from school by 21 😑 The old fashioned-ness of the town can suit my agenda as no one here is calling Sam Smith ‘they’ but equally, they’d stare if you walked down the street holding hands with a woman. Maybe I ought to drive out a bit further! There are so many posts on here that make me think, ‘Why aren’t my friends and I having these conversations?!’ If my friends don’t even have them, I’m unlikely to find a bf who cares about it. I’m always glad to see SS being slated on the celeb goss thread as ‘he’, what the hell is he doing with these pics recently?!?

I’m blocked by H from Steps 🙌 You know you’re terfing right when that happens.

He could also just use it as a means to get people to like him more and give him attention/money since it's pretty trendy to be trans at the moment. A lot of famous people use to act a certain way to be more likable.
Exactly this. He’s clearly leveraging being non-binary for attention and woke points. But I also get the impression that, in his own warped mind, dressing feminine is the only way he can be “sexy” (I mean, he could not be any less sexy obvs. Every time I see a clip of the Unholy video I cringe myself inside out)? Which might say a lot about how he views women, specifically women in the music industry.

H from Steps is a tosser. He was in the closet for years and came out after their music career had been and gone, and now constantly seems to harp on about the LGBT causes he ignored 20+ years ago when homophobia was way more common and he could have made a difference. All my gay friends of his age were out way younger than he was and people like him (and the Phillip Schofields etc) are riding on the coat tails of gay activists who were brave enough to come out when it mattered.
