Pleased to see the Charity Commission looking into Mermaids. About bloody time.

Some good news at last.

Let's hope it opens several cans of worms.

Safeguarding needs to be back to the primary focus.

The very special heterosexual couple redefining romantic stereotypes
Good for them! They both are confident as a gender non conforming man and woman. He’s not saying “I act feminine so I must be a woman”. They seem happy - what’s to fret about?

Yep, more of people being who they are without trying to claim they have changed sex or need to mutilate their bodies please.
Nothing to see here.

For me mainly its the complete over the top reporting of it, how much of that is The Mirror I don't know, but the whole article is written like they've redefined for the first time every stereotype, what the Mirror classes as unique my head says couple realise they are bi rather than gay and enter into a happy committed relationship

I'm sure that many relationships arent based 100% on gender stereotypes, I can't believe that this relationship is unique in that respect.

How do you guys feel about "normal" men wearing skirts?

I've seen so many on bumble/tinder here. Before I thought it was fine. Now I see it as a way for men to mock women. Even when they claim it's not as a joke or sexual there is usually more to it.
If by normal men you mean not kinky porn obsessed perverts then I have to say I find a kilt a bit of a turn on

Kilts look soooo much better at weddings than suits.
Only if you've got a bloke who suits them  After reading the Outlander series it came as a disappointment to both me and him to realise that my bloke doesn't suit kilts at all.

A kilt is not a skirt, a kilt is a very manly thing to wear. All of my Scottish side adores a kilt and regrets I married an Englishman

Apart from the sporran, they look the same as a skirt. I don't see them as manly. Nor do I see them as bad btw. :D

A kilt is a skirt using the dictionary definition of the word, as in ‘a garment fastened around the waist and hanging down around the legs.’
