Ralph Fiennes has been sticking up for JK 👏🏻 Glad someone from the Potter films has finally shown some common sense.

i’m sure the trans crew and bumlickers will be out in full force against him by the end of the day.

Yes Emma and Daniel will be appearing later with their trans partners to denounce the attack....................Oh wait both of them are straight and have only been in relationships with member of the opposite sex.....surely not!!

I'm supposed to be working 🙄, but I'm sure Boy George has also said he thinks TWAW, Marilyn has called him out on his bullshit.

So he's no national treasure to the female half of the population 😒
Marilyn tweets a lot on the subject and is very much on our side, thank goodness.

Their arguments are tedious and piss weak. I'd totally have noticed a trans person in my bogs, you can spot them a mile off.

Very weak arguments, spotted 2 easily this last weekend and they weren't trying to be all look at me either just walking past me in the street in one case and working in a shop in another.

I'd be surprised if Daniel Radcliffe was straight!

Re. Boy George - his interview with Louis Theroux on the lockdown interviews podcast Louis did - I'm sure I remember him being a bit dismissive of TRA types.

He was originally dismissive of pronouns on Twitter but he got a lot of criticism for it so he backed down later.

Thanks for the replies to my cross dressing post - I feel very much the same in that yeah, I think it’s weird but what consenting adults do in private is of little concern to me. The guy I know has been cross dressing for nearly 30 years, his wife knows 🤯 as do his grown up children 🤯🤯 but he keeps it separate from his home life. It certainly wouldn’t be for me but they seem to have a happy marriage 🤷🏼‍♀️ I’ve talked to him quite a bit about it as it fascinates me and he says for him and his T-Girl friends, it’s not a sexual thing, they just love wearing female clothes and make up (even if what they wear is very dated, all frosted lipstick, pencil skirts and court shoes 🤦🏼‍♀️) I mean I love clothes and make up so I kinda get that but I think for many it must be a sexual kink or fetish mustn’t it? Anyway, no real point to this post, I’m just thinking aloud.

I've been seeing males in public and in female spaces, they are very clockable. I remember being in the town centre with my friend and I saw a clearly TIM in shorts, a black crop top with his man belly hanging out, a mask covering his face and his head shaved at the sides with the rest of his hair collected in a ponytail at the top. He was extremely tall too. He looked like a mess. His mask had the trans flag colours on it too, so I knew.

Another one sat next to me on the bus and he was wearing flared jeans, a trench coat and a full face of makeup. I remember he took out a book and he had a bookmark with the new pride flag on it. These people are out in the open and make it VERY noticeable.

I grew up in the eighties and mainly went to goth, alternative and rock clubs. Plenty of blokes wore make up and used hairspray and experimented with fashion then and I dated lots of them. The difference is that none of them were pretending to be women and they weren’t cross dressers or transvestites. I still think men in eyeliner and with long hair look good.
I don’t believe it’s possible to be a cross dresser and for there not to be some kind of sexual element in it, some kind of frisson and I do think it’s tied up in this concept that women are submissive, subservient or inferior. I think it probably was relatively harmless a few decades ago, but the Internet changed all that with its limitless access to porn and forums of like-minded people egging them on to go further and push the boundaries.
And it is always men who have these niche little hobbies and interests. While these blokes are tottering around in frilly underwear and wigs and meeting up with others it’s the women who are at home still fulfilling their traditional roles and looking after the children etc. I don’t doubt some people in these scenarios are content, but I bet a lot of the women hate it and feel forced to put on a brave face because nowadays they’ll be seen as judgemental or a bigot if they admit this. On forums like Mumsnet you’ll occasionally get women saying they’ve found out their partner is a cross dresser and they’ll invariably get comments about how it’s just a kink or a fetish, you should embrace it or join in or explore it. Women aren’t allowed to be repulsed by it anymore.

I'm a long time lurker and very occasional poster on this thread. I think I'd get too sucked in and very very angry if I participated too much.

Lots of men really hate us, don't they? I remember having a really horrible male boss, and said to my previous male boss, who he replaced and I was still working with in another capacity and good friends with, "X really doesn't like women does he?" And it had never occurred to lovely boss that that was a real possibility.

As Germaine Greer said 'women have very little idea how much men hate them,'

It's true.

Some wee dweeb TRA snowflake blocked me today. Apparently the women meeting in Cardiff made him/her/it “feel unsafe” I suggested they should learn to have a bit of stoicism and fortitude and they didn’t like it. These young people don’t seem equipped to deal with life, a lot worse things will happen than a bunch of women discussing things that affect them.

Kind of off topic, but this reminded me of something I always wondered, remember that book that was really popular some years ago, Girl with the Dragon Tattoo? The originial Swedish title was Men who Hate women, and I know in Spanish and italian the translation was the same, I always wondered why it was changed for the english version?

Trans widows of the grim, abusive autogynephile men who make up the majority of the modern "trans" communities are definitely a voice we don't hear enough of, this looks really interesting.

Because the original title was seen as commercially unviable. According to Stieg Larsson's partner, even the original Swedish publishers tried to change it, but he wouldn't let them. Then he died so international publishers did what they wanted I guess...I know the Latin American version had the title changed but the Spanish one didn't, but not sure which other versions changed it.
